I can't get Mr. Palast's site up right now, but judging that quote on its own(out of context) I have to ask..... what have you, Mr. Greg Palast done for the world?

It is always easier to sit back and point fingers than to get into the thick of things yourself.(Browha's sig pretty much sums up my feelings on that)

I disagreed with alot of Reagan's ideas and policies, but Mr. Palast has absolutely no class and honor to write something like that before the coffin has even been closed.

Talked about his dying over dinner last night... it was interesting.

My mom had no clue what was going on, my boyfriend held an intelligent conversation with the wall, my moms friend with a crush on her talked out of his rear, and i listened and laughed as they all tried to talk on the same level about his presidency....it was amusing...

May he rest in peace.

Just for the record - You say Mr. Palasts contributions to the world equal "jack $h1t!" I would argue that the following accolades put him a step above the "jack $h1t" category when it comes to contributions to this world. I think given the complete lack of investigative journalism in the US, his work is important in the scheme of things.

Then I stand corrected. As I said in my original post, I was not able to get his site up and had to judge his quote out of context. I still think he is an utterly lacking human being for what he wrote though. Then again, who am I to judge......

Nah, screw it, let the judging begin! F! Palast, He is still a $h1thead for showing absolutely no class or couth. I hope his articles wind up at the bottom of many a birdcage.

EDIT: I got his site up. He is a smug, glory seeking, self-righteous, know it all, holier-than-thou prick. Screw Mr. Palast.

Would it be a shame to wait until President Reagan is buried before crap begins? Seriosuly, this is not the time when people are looking for both sides - use your head.
This is not the place for both sides, not is it a place for mudslinging - take that to the Mud Pit. It'd be nice if it was saved until after Friday, too.

Once it begins, remember, there are those of us that were very cogniznat in those days, knew what was going on, and will be able to take any mud aimed at President Reagan and shove it right back on you.

Point well taken. As noted in my original post, my knee-jerk reaction was because I was offended that someone(Mr. Palast) would start trashing the man before the coffin was even closed.

I will reserve my opinions for the mud-pit after the funeral.
