It seems you have just layed out a bunch of empty accusations at my feet only because you do not agree with something I said. Where is any argument against anything I said? Where is any evidence of my vilifying the Tea Party? Please show me that any of the things you have said are even remotely true. I asked a question. How you see that as vilifying is beyond me so either explain all these lies or go start a new thread and hang out there a while.

You FAIL to see the obvious. If the Federal Border patrol had been doing what it should be doing, and if Obama had not cancelled plans to complete the border fence, then there would be no NEED for this bill. The fact is that neither Bush, Obama or the previous administrations were EVER serious about keeping illegal immigrants out. They pay lip service to border patrols, but give a side wink to immigrants and the exploiters of the immigrants, letting them know by their inaction that illegal crossing are ok.
This bill is absolutely necessary for the welfare of Arizona, both economically and public safety wise, BECAUSE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT DOING ITS JOB. Period!

First of all, you are again just saying things and not backing them up. If I am a troll, show me how and where I demonstrate this. If I attack and derail, please show me where I am doing this. I good place to start would be to stop derailing by attacking me. That might help you look.

Second of all, who gives a rats behind if I create my own threads. Seriously, what does that mean? What if I had 3000 threads. Would that make my point in this thread more credible? Actually, I picked up that phrase from threads of others, and felt that the phrase fit. Having seen the half-arsed approach that virtually all of the media use in "reporting", I felt it perfectly described virtually all of the media, both left and right. The LSM never lets facts get in the way of a good story. The fact that Palin may use it, doesn't in any way diminish the glove-fit of the term to the media. Cheers.

Honestly? I feel that the tag Main Stream Media (MSM) carries the message that it is not the be-all and end-all of global awareness. Why don't you post FACTS, instead of complete lies?
According to CBS news, which is about as left-wing as you can get, ONLY 54% of Tea Party supporters are Republicans:

Of course, then again, why tell the truth? After all, that would not support your contentions about the tea party members.

As to primary reasons for being TP members, CBS news reports these poll results:

Asked what they are most angry about, the top four answers among Tea Party supporters who identify as angry were the health care reform bill (16 percent), the government not representing the people (14 percent), government spending (11 percent) and unemployment and the economy (8 percent).

If you are going to make wild accusations, and you have, then stick to the facts, and cite sources, other than your own rather wild imagination.

It come down to this, the 2 party system in the US sucks donkey balls...and a system with 3-5 parties who have to build coalitions would work a lot better. That way, you have the option to chose "gray" instead of "black" or "white" like now.

So technically, I welcome the formation of a 3rd group like the tea party guys. Having said that, every time Palin talks to them, the crowd cheers...and since Palin is utterly retarded and a lying scumbag (ask for proof and I'll provide), people cheering her on, must be equally as retarded and stupid.

I really wish the TP was a true 3rd party movement. Sadly it's been taken over by angry bigots, racists, and Christian fundamentalists who would love to live in a theocracy (and make the rest of us live in one too). They get a B for effort, after all, they do have quite a few members and guns...but an F- for content.

If they'd stuck with the core values of being against the bailouts, all would be good. I was against those too, but for other reasons then them. I realize that not bailing out those companies would have resulted in a short/medium-term shock to employment beyond anything we've experienced so far...and the TP dudes who were against the bailouts probably didn't think about that, but economically, it would have been the better choice in the long term. So I agree with them there.

But then they showed up with Obama/Hitler billboards, called everyone who wanted regulation (even though more regulation in the banking sector would have saved us from this crisis) a communist, and started with racial slurs. And the best thing is, if you accuse them of being racist, they argue that you are using the "race card".

Guess what, IF YOU'RE BEING RACIST I'M GONNA USE THE RACE CARD! Saying someone is using the "race card" isn't a valid excuse for being racist.
