Beautiful
Have you noticed the double, sometimes triple plume?

How are the charts looking? Is she working up again? I am a little concerned about the double and triple plumes...I take it these are coming not just from the new sw vent?

These are from the Northeast crater that's the one that has continuouse gas emmition and the new southeast crater. I don't know what the third would be.
Charts look ok at the moment. There was a small 2 ish quake this morning.

Silo and Tzavros, thank you so much for all the pictures and information you both have posted. Please keep up the great reporting, I certainly get more accurate timely information on Etna from you two then I do from the media.

Wow AuntB - Thank you so much. Words of encouragement make that getting up in the wee hours of the morning and getting pelted on the head by chunks a volcano worth it!

But thank YOU for 'watching'!!!

And keep your eyes open - She's being a wee strange! (But what's new these days)!!!

peace and hugs

Mount etna errupts all the time. While Italians are known to not be exactly risk adveres, nobody has a home where lava is expected.

Eyes open today - that new crater is putting out a lot of gas (very fine fine ash) - it's not an eruption just constant 'stuff'...

Are you seeing anything on the radar?

this quote
"But another pattern again of Etna before the next paroxysm...with the NE-Crater (?) showing high degasing."

I'll be waiting for your visual and tzavros' chart readings!

Hi All

Stats are all normal at the moment. That is... Stats are normal for our normal Etna. She is throwing out lots of smoke at the moment. No local quakes this morning but am monitoring.

She's been 'putting out' grunge all day.

A few moments ago there were a couple a little 'puffs' looking like mini-eruptions. I've got pics but I'll have to post a little later as I've got to cover up the animals - the wind is changing and heading this way.

So, will it be a full scale eruption? I don't know - but it definitely - from a birds eye view was a mini.

Pics later.

Hi Bob - thanks for the heads up!

Can you do us all a favor? The time stamps on ATS are screwy. Would you be so kind as to post a time when you give these notifications? That would be awesome...

Unless that is YOUR time stamp is correct?
