There is another article that spends time on the fact that you should wait a full second between successive shots, because it takes the brain a full second to register the fact that one has in fact been shot. So shooting at a faster rate merely empties your magazine, without you knowing whether you're actually even hitting your target. Too bad I cannot locate that other article....
