Last week around Feb 22nd The Washington Times reported the story on “Inside the Beltway” about the 31 press conferences in cities in the US and abroad on February 19 held by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, an organization of professionals which now has 1,000 members.

The newspaper reports that Richard Gage, the spokesperson for the architects and engineers said:

“Government officials will be notified that ‘Misprision of Treason,’ U.S. Code 18 (Sec. 2382) is a serious federal offense, which requires those with evidence of treason to act. The implications are enormous and may have profound impact on the forthcoming Khalid Sheik Mohammed trial.”

How did three World Trade Center skyscrapers suddenly disintegrate into fine dust? How did massive steel beams in three skyscrapers suddenly fail as a result of short-lived, isolated, and low temperature fires? “A thousand architects and engineers want to know, and are calling on Congress to order a new investigation into the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7,”

The paper reported that the architects and engineers have concluded that the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Institute of Standards and Technology provided

“insufficient, contradictory and fraudulent accounts of the circumstances of the towers’ destruction” and are “calling for a grand jury investigation of NIST officials.”

The head of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth announced the firefighters’ support for the architects and engineers’ demands and reported that no forensic investigation was made of the fires that are alleged to have destroyed the three buildings and that this failure constitutes a crime, mandated procedures were not followed and instead of being preserved and investigated, the crime scene was destroyed. He also reported that there are more than one hundred first responders who heard and experienced explosions and that there is radio, audio and video evidence of explosions. Also at the press conference, a physicist presented the evidence of nano-thermite in the residue of the WTC buildings found by an international panel of scientists led by University of Copenhagen nano-chemist Professor Niels Harrit.

Before we yell “conspiracy theory,” we should be aware that the architects, engineers, firefighters, and scientists offer no theory instead they provide evidence that challenges the official theory. This evidence is not going to go away keeping in mind Co-Chairmen of the 9/11 Commission and the Commission’s legal counsel, all of whom have written books in which they clearly state that they were lied to by government officials when they conducted their investigation.

There will always be American citizens who will believe whatever the government tells them no matter how many times they know the government has lied to them. Despite expensive wars that threaten Social Security and Medicare, wars based on non-existent Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, non-existent Saddam Hussein connections to al Qaida, non-existent Afghan participation in the 9/11 attacks, and the non-existent Iranian nukes that are being hyped as the reason for the next American war of aggression in the Middle East, more than half of the U.S. population still believes the fantastic story that the government has told them about 9/11, a Muslim conspiracy that outwitted the entire Western world.

Moreover, it doesn’t matter to these citizens how often the government changes its story. For example, Americans first heard of Osama bin Laden because the Bush regime pinned the 9/11 attacks on him. Over the years video after video was served up to the gullible American public of bin Laden’s pronouncements. Experts dismissed the videos as fakes, but Americans remained their gullible selves. Then suddenly last year a new 9/11 “mastermind” emerged to take bin Laden’s place, the captive Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the detainee waterboarded 183 times until he confessed to mastermining the 9/11 attack.

The self incrimination of Sheik Mohammed is the only evidence the U.S government has the Muslim terrorist pulled off 911. If a person considers the feats attributed to Khalid Sheik Mohammed, they are simply unbelievable.

* Sheik Mohammed outwitted all 16 U.S. intelligence agencies along with those of all U.S. allies or puppets, including Israel’s Mossad.

* No intelligence service on earth or all of them combined was a match for Sheik Mohammed.

* Sheik Mohammed outwitted the U.S. National Security Council, Dick Cheney, the Pentagon, the State Department, NORAD, the U.S. Air Force, and Air Traffic Control.

* He caused Airport Security to fail four times in one morning. He caused the state-of-the-art air defenses of the Pentagon to fail, allowing a hijacked airliner, which was off course all morning while the U.S. Air Force, for the first time in history, was unable to get aloft intercepter aircraft, to crash into the Pentagon.

* Sheik Mohammed was able to perform these feats with unqualified pilots.

* Sheik Mohammed, even as a waterboarded detainee, has managed to prevent the FBI from releasing the many confiscated videos that would show, according to the official story, the hijacked airliner hitting the Penagon.

How naive do you have to be to believe that any human, or for that matter Hollywood fantasy character, is this powerful and capable? If Sheik Mohammed has these superhuman capabilities, how was he caught? This guy is a patsy tortured into confession in order to keep the naifs believing the government’s conspiracy theory.

The U.S. government has responded to the evidence against their outlandish 9/11 conspiracy theory by redefining the war on terror from external to internal enemies. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said on February 21 that American extremists are now as big a concern as international terrorists. Cass Sunstein's solution for the 9/11 skeptics: Infiltrate them and provoke them into statements and actions that can be used to discredit or to arrest them. But get rid of them at all cost.

One needs to ask why employ such extreme measures against alleged kooks if they only provide entertainment and laughs? Is the government worried that they are on to something? Instead, why doesn’t the U.S. government simply confront the evidence that is presented and answer it?

Obviously, if the U.S. government can murder its citizens abroad it can murder them at home, and has done so. For example, Branch Davidians were murdered in Waco. The government just decided to use its power knowing that it could get away with it, which it did. People who think “their” government is some kind of morally pure operation would do well to familiarize themselves with Operation Northwoods.

For their own good and that of the wider world, people specially American citizens need to pay attention to the growing body of experts who are telling them that the government’s account of 9/11 fails their investigation. 9/11 launched the neoconservative plan for U.S. world hegemony.

As of the U.S. government is purchasing the agreement of foreign governments that border Russia to accept U.S. missile interceptor bases. The U.S. intends to ring Russia with U.S. missile bases from Poland through central Europe and Kosovo to Georgia, Azerbaijan and central Asia. [see www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=17709 ] U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke declared on February 20 that al Qaida is moving into former central Asian constituent parts of the Soviet Union, such as Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan. Holbrooke is soliciting U.S. bases in these former Soviet republics under the guise of the ever-expanding “war on terror.”

The U.S. has already encircled Iran with military bases. The U.S. government intends to neutralize China by seizing control over the Middle East and cutting China off from oil. This plan assumes that Russia and China, nuclear armed states, will be intimidated by U.S. anti-missile defenses and acquiesce to U.S. hegemony and that China will lack oil for its industries and military.

The U.S. government is delusional. Russian military and political leaders have responded to the obvious threat by declaring NATO a direct threat to the security of Russia and by announcing a change in Russian war doctrine to the pre-emptive launch of nuclear weapons.

Until it affects the everyday lives of Americans it won't matter to them. It now IS beginning to affect American lives through the economy but has not affected enough. The temperature is rising though, look at the polls, look into the eyes of our leaders, and listen to what everyday Americans are saying - our leaders are beginning to see that we're waking.

Very interesting thread, December Rain. You seem to have hit the nail on the head concerning the recent actions of the United States to further consolidate its global dominance as the lone super power which it has enjoyed since the fall of the Soviet Union. The events on September 11th may have given the secret cabal within the highest levels of government the smoke screen needed to provide an opportunity to declare total war on the world in the event their demands remain unmet by competing powers? As the old adage states, "All roads lead to Rome." They are not going to come out and say what their plans are because that would be political suicide. So they will spin the facts, while manipulating the emotions of the public.

They use the War on Terror as an excuse for military expansion the world over, and with this blanket term, the American people largely accept it as reasonable without questioning the reasons as to why. Their plans have been put into writing, and unfortunately it has not been mentioned to the American people at any length. It is known as the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), a manifesto of sorts for the Neoconservative movement in America and drafted in 1997.

Section V of Rebuilding America's Defenses, entitled "Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force", includes the sentence: "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor" (51)

Sounds very peculiar and similar to an event that came years later in 9-11, and it is often called America's "New Pearl Harbor." This not a partisan thing, but the talking points of the government in general. Lately, the American politician changes their views and agendas as simply as one changes a pair of pants. They show what the public expects in opposition given their party platform, however, over time they all fall in line to spearhead and agenda. No one put up a fight at any length about the Patriot Act, the abuses of Abu Ghraib, and the torture allegations at Gitmo. There was partisan barking, but after awhile the barking dogs became silent at clear violations to American ideals and principles. For what apparent reason they became silent, your guess is as good as mine? In my opinion, below is an example of the modern American political climate and it is Han Christian Anderson's tale of "The Emperors New Clothes."



More and more, things tend to be all about appearance rather than substance. Some would call it the fine art of smoking mirrors. I am on the fence about the official 9/11 story by the US government and have been for sometime, and for me to go into detail about my concerns the 10,000 word limit is not enough. However, the text above describing PNAC document is like they choreographed what happened on September 11th. Then, this document practically choreographed every move which followed 9-11. Very stunning stuff! Here is another interesting footnote in the days before 9-11 and it involves a significant sum of money vanishing into thin air from the Pentagon coffers.



What happened to that money? Is that the bankroll which funds the War on Terror, covert operations, and the aspirations for global dominance? 2.3 trillion dollars is a heck of a lot of money, to just up and vanish into thin air is rather odd? However, I believe it is safe somewhere and is funding the current adventures by our government to be kept in the dark from the American people. It is odd that the Secretary of Defense made that announcement a day before the events of September 11th, and before grilling could commence by congress and the media. After 9/11, they were burdened with a national emergency to contend with and the story went cold. I find the events of 9/11 rather convenient for the crooks behind the heist. Since then, the story has been a dead end, and with seemingly no investigation to follow-up on that phenomenal breach of the public trust.

This war is never going to end and the politicians have said just that. One politician campaigning during the last Presidential election actively endorsed imperialism by the United States in the Middle East and elsewhere if needed.



Then you have the subject of US garrisons and military capabilities being strategically placed in Central Asia, former Soviet Satellites, Eastern Bloc countries, and all around the Pacific Ocean. These are a means for the US to exert pressure on the Russians and the Chinese in an event conflict is on the horizon, or if they decide to speak or act out of turn. As the article you cited states:

It is a military encirclement maneuver on a global scale. The US is gearing up for war and hedging their bets. The military industrial complex is running at full-steam: money is pouring in, arms are being sold, static conflicts are happening around the world, and so on and so forth. It is a dangerous game of chicken being played by the US against their opponents, and sooner or later, some one is going to flinch. This may be the road the US is taking the world down if its quest for dominance and superiority is left unchecked?



Lets hope that day never happens, because in the nuclear weapons world, as Nikita Kruschev once said:

"The living will envy the dead."

How can we keep people in jail as enemy combatants if the cause was more home grown? This I think is the problem. Future trials will be compromised with this new evidence brought in.

Well I just hope people wake up and see what it is before it get's too late. I agree with you lately there have been new polls which show wide awakening among citizens and it's growing.

Indeed it is very much possible and by the looks of it it does seem like the bullet has left the chamber and won't stop before a global disaster. The War on Iraq was very much in works before 9/11. U.S. foreign policy employs subversive modus operandi. A law was fashioned
Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, a law that paved the way for invasion and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein. Now same thing is done for Iran The 2006 Iran Freedom Support Act allocates millions of dollars authorizing U.S. intelligence agencies to support groups opposed to the Iranian government. It is already in works.

In my opinion, the only terrorists are the Elite, those in government, read corporate fiction, who desire a redistribution of the wealth and power. WE have the power and THEY want it!!! Simple really. NO FEAR, fear is what they thrive on, if they don't have your attention or your fear, they perish. Again, simple.

Terrorism=Fear=Control.........of who? I am not afraid, why should anyone be, I am armed and ready, show me the "real" terrorists.

I feel so sorry for those arabs MURDERED in the name of profit and fear.

It's not just about Arabs or Muslims but about the entire people of the planet. “Afghan heroin amounts to 90% of all drugs sold in Russia. Annual supplies stand at 35 tonnes or 5 billion shots,” Ivanov said, as quoted by Interfax news agency.

Now consider this news which may provide a glimpse of the unconditional support for Georgia by NATO "led" countries.

MOSCOW -- The territory of Georgia has been turning into one of powerful ways of drug trafficking to Russia, leader of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FDCS) Viktor Ivanov said at a meeting of its collegium on Saturday.

“The key directions of drug trafficking go through the area of water of the Black and Caspian Seas with the use of the sea ports of Iran (Enzeli, Nowshahr), Turkey (Istanbul, Trabzon), Turkmenistan (Turkmenbashi) and Azerbaijan (Baku), as well as the transit potential of the territory of Georgia,” he said.

“The ports of Batumi and Poti became the main ones in drug trafficking, and the Georgian city of Kabuleti - - one of the key points of trafficking of Afghan heroin,” the FDCS director said.
