My only elation is that the Cap and Tax and the Health Care corporatist takeover has been stopped.

Well thats good, although less divine healing the second has occurred, of course it is legal, which makes it legal. At least no one will be compelled to seek the luxuries of a doctor.

Anyhow sorry to all and big congrats on your victory

You need to expound on your comments Janky.

Do you feel the health care bill as presented actually inferred what you wanted in health care reform?

I myself thought only one thing needed to be done. It is quite easy to incur the exact thing everyone wants.

Health Care given to the Congress and government in general is given to the public. Paid for by direct taxes of the income tax.

Nothing easier then that! Case closed.

Will it ever happen? No. Elitism amongst the government is a purview of what is to come. You and I will become 2nd class citizens.

Just as in every other Fascist or Socialist state.

I can see what you are saying. Individualism per se is the perception of freewill and the rights garnered as an individual.

To join together does not mean you must forego individualism, it means you band as brothers in common cause.

To this end, we must band together both as conservatives and liberals to destroy the despotism in our midst.

For the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

We can worry later about how we are going to approach life as soon as we destroy the viper in our midst.

Well thats were Huxley comes in, if your too busy trying to survive or just happy enough eating Pizza Hut and getting out early from work on Friday there is not much hope. Just look at the tribes of Natives here... took time, but it was no WWII. They had the numbers, but were busy looking out for numbero uno.

At least we are needed to grease the cogs, I hope to become a bolt one day myself.

As I look through this thread a lot of posters think that by voting Brown in some huge message was sent to Washington. There was, but it's not the one everyone thinks. All you did was do what you have been doing for decades, Little puppets of Washington.

If you REALLY want to send a message either vote 3rd party or write someone in.

No not all, the healthcare bill sucks... I am sad that this is it, the bill is a disaster
and this issue will never be raised again, for it is to costly and very easy to quell
in the media. We will pay more and more, thats how it is, not a tax per say, that is if you have the bucks to go private or if you never get ill. My fathers three year illness costed more to treat than I will make in my life time at this rate. As an individual I cannot take a risk like that, at the same time I can hardly afford to maintain my output
of money.

Otherwise the choice is not really much of a choice, not very hard, the goal is to make the bucks, not to make less bucks, so they will make the bucks and keep up the facade of choice. Same result, other direction, all we have done is transferred our interests passively. Either way there are repercussions, as individuals will all spend and
be subject to the same lone cry in a sea of humanity, as pursuant to our rights.

As a person I am proud to make a distinction between dialyses and a Ferrari, America has spoken and she has declared they are the same. In this whole debate I have been so busy tending to the nuanced concerns of the nay sayers that my valid points have been obscured by the fog of this political war. It is not any accident that the right of profiteering and a universal implement have been distilled down to generalization.

One could declare "fight the corporatisation by letting the corporation proceed unfettered"... I cannot grasp how that works, I know if I were in control and my goal was money I would not waver in the duty of pumping up my profits or hide the profits in the machine of my expansive conquest.

Point is the verdict is in, we are points of sale and all of us are revenue streams, this has been affirmed, either way.
