i havent added anything..you are making assumptions that you shouldnt from a passage that is easily understood if read literally..

the bible clearly states that the penalty of sin is death..death entered the world through sin..sin did not exist until adam disobeyed..its very simple..being unable to die since death did not exist makes them immortal..you are the one who lacks comprehension and logic..they could not eat of that tree of life after their sin, as that would cause God's word to be false which it never is..

They were plenty capable of eating from that tree as well, they could have equally ate from it prior to eating from the tree of knowledge. Just because they ate from one first and not the other doesn't mean they couldn't as God said they could eat from everything in the Garden, but to not eat from those two trees. If you can find scriptural evidence that explicitly states they were immortal, you would have more to stand on in your argument, fact is none exists.

It's quite clear, he died. Get it? GOD hasn't lied about anything Pal.

It doesn't state they will *begin to* die, it's explicitly stated that they will die as a result of eating, not lose immortality. The whole immortality concept is entirely unfounded as there would be no reason for God to fear Adam and Eve from eating of the tree of life in which to obtain immortality as well as the knowledge of good and evil.

No where here, is there any indication that Enoch died. Only that GOD took him, and he walked with GOD. It doesn't indicate he died or went missing.

So maybe, we did have immortality. This certainly applies when the matter is considered on a spiritual level, but maybe this is an example on a physical level.

Saying it could mean this or might mean that doesn't make it clear to mean what the text doesn't explicitly state. Regardless, even if God took Enoch up into heaven, God could have made Enoch physically immortal at that point, chances are he died as his days were numbered 365 years.

God is such a good parent. Putting his beloved children in a beautiful playpen filled with wonderful toys and one loaded gun.

"Play freely with all the toys but don't touch the gun my children."

Epic fail.
