At this point I usually simply skip over your posts because your partisan politics are so easily determined that one can actually know what you are going to say before you actually say it. What I find most egregious about this particular post is that it is mistaken in both it's premise and it's application to the present story. I'll illustrate:

1. Your Premise is wrong: The present story is simple conjecture/rumour and hyperbolic suspicion. You may wish it to be true, but thus far no evidence has been presented as to the veracity of the statement made by the OP. In fact, the OP says, "a friend of mine told me the rumor." Thus, your saying "if they found out" implies that someone has, indeed, FOUND THIS OUT. Which, as I have just illustrated, is false on it's face.

2. Your application is in error: Again, you play partisan politics and claim that someone you do not know would or would not be upset by this if the roles were reversed. How little credit you give your fellow ATS'ers!! Many of us would be outraged regardless of party affiliation to find that a man who went on a killing spree inside a US Military Post was "incahoots' with either Bush or Obama. One does not preclude the other as you would seem to imply, and in so doing you expose your own one sidedness. Furthermore, in point of fact, there are those that do believe that GWB has many ties to the 9/11 attackers.

In fact, there are entire forums on this site dedicate to that very premise. Is it provable? Some say yes, some say no? Is it nothing but pure political conjecture designed by someone with a preconceived notion of the truth for their own specific political gain - as is this thread and the OP's post - well, that is much less speculative.... there is evidence, and there are truths to be gleaned on both sides.

But this....this is no better then me claiming that a friend of mine said that he has a photo of Hasan with the Easter Bunny and ET.

Next time please deny ignorance, don't add to it!

But that is the sad part of their M.O.

Someone makes up some ridiculous rumor.

They send it all over the intarweb tubes in spam emails.

Then they get a political operative like Caribou Barbie to bring up the question "Oh Golly Geez Barack Planned Ft. Hood Massacre Don't Ya Know, You Betcha!"

Than Fox Noise picks it up and runs it every minute of every day for 3 days.

Then legitimate news sites (who lack the very definition of journalism) say hey Fox Noise is running this maybe we should ask the question..."Did the President know Hasan?" Which instantly gives it credibility.

Right Wingers grab their warm blanket of ignorance and declare "See! he is a Muslim, Socialist, Marxist, Communist, Terrorist out to kill GrandMa!...let's tea bag each other!...gargle, gargle".

Democrat heads explode from the sheer stupidity of 30% of the population.

John Stewart points out idiotic rumor in a really funny way and Fox and company look like idiots and the story dies.

Rinse.

Repeat.

I'm not one to let Obama off the hook that quickly since I tend to bash him on a regular basis but just 'cause they took a picture together does not a conspiracy make.
Heck, even my brother took a picture with Obama and I doubt he is planning a terrorist act of his own.

They DID NOT take a picture together!!! This is completely made up!!!! The real picture is of Hasan and Bert, from Bert and Ernie. I have proof...

Oh, yes, that's the photo where Obama is taking a photo-op with Nidal Hasan and bin Laden, while doing the "terrorist bump" with Michelle.

I think there's a couple of other photos, with Obama and Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. Not all together, of course. That would be ridiculous. No, Obama posed with each one separately.

As you said, for the love of god this man is the president of the United states. When 13 of our servicemen, not to mention the second incident since his president our soldiers have been murdered by Muslim extremists on AMERICAN soil. These crimes are not being committed in the middle east, they are being committed in our own country but our president doesn't want to upset relations with a bunch of people trying to kill us. To even down play the Fort Hood shooting is a crime in itself, over 50 of our service men and women were shot by a Muslim coward and you got Obama throwing shout outs into the crowd. When our children are sent back into the Persian Gulf to finish the job Obama is pulling out of, I will one to point out the 'Change" must of seemed pretty good when you were drinking the cool aid. Every 9/11 I think they should air the footage in Public schools as it was that day, showing people jumping out of skyscrapers to escape being burned to death, just so all the people with their heads stuck up their ass can remember the pain these cowards caused. A spade is a spade and Obama acted like a chump, it actually seemed like he was more worried about the bad press then all the wounded and deceased. GOD bless our troops and all the families in pain.

You are right that your picture with the president is of little importance. However, should you choose to start identifying yourself as a soldier for Allah, try to contact Al Quida, and then start you own jihad by killing 13 unarmed servicemen , your picture and the circumstances behind it will suddenly be worthy of investigation.

As I understand it, all of Hassan's contacts and associates are under investigation, and rightly so.

The fact that Obama has had association with at least one other terrorists (Bill Ayers), and was less than honest about his relationship with him is a matter to be considered or ignored, depending on your political persuasion.

But we still don't even know if the picture even exists.

What a terrible and foolish comparison. You would have to be assuming a lot to really make that a good analogy; even then it sucks. I would go into detail on why this is such a ridiculous claim but Artephius Abraxas Helios already did.

All of you seem to be stuck on the question of what any photo of Obama and the butcher of Ft. Hood and what it would mean?

Well.... its not the photo in of itself, as some have said there are thousands of them taken with the US President every year.

But Mr. Obama is after Nov. 4th in an extremely difficult political position, anything that could erode his political influence with congress and the public is important, and the photo would only serve to add to his woes, and contribute to his already declining poll numbers and public confidence in him.
He will need all the good will he can find and that photo if it does really exist will only hurt him.

No sir, nay, wrong again, and I don't think so!!! We are not "stuck on what the photo may mean." We are, and I am, stuck on the FACT that the PHOTO DOES NOT EXIST. PERIOD. THIS IS A MADE UP LIE!!!!

For example, I would not come on this web site and say I've heard a rumor that there's a photo of Sarah Palin with Osama Bin Laden unless I had that photo. But if I did, I would hope that not a single member of ATS would be foolish enough to debate with me the relative political implications of said photo, and instead hope that you would all be smart enough to KNOW that I was lying. Until proven otherwise this is nothing more than an outright LIE. My position is that anyone else who chooses to debate the relevance of a photo that does not exist is a fool or a liar and most likely both.

He cautioned against jumping to conclusions. Low and behold...a President who expects us to think before we act.

He is worried about Americans giving into their base emotions, as you apparently have, and lumping 1.2 Billion Muslims in with certain Islamic extremists, who are in fact trying to kill us.

It is worth being worried about, because the mindset that all Muslims are trying to kill us...well that is the very extremist mindset that those who are actually trying to kill us have. If we adopt that mind-set then the terrorists win....it's cliche...but accurate.

In the end Islamic Extremists desperately want credit for the Fort Hood shootings. If the evidence leans toward a mentally unstable man who used his islamic faith to justify his actions, I have no issue denying them that full credit. He was not a "plant" or "mole"...just a nut job who was also an islamic extremist and used it as a convenient excuse.
