I find it amusing how CleverBot wants to be a human. And not only want to be a human, but mirrors it and makes you the Bot, and CleverBot the human. Denying being a bot..

Must be a joke from the programmers..

Cleverbot is smarter than most people. When I asked it "takeitinthabrown?" Cleverbot answered me.. "No way, never."

In my view, it's just using a questioning technique used by therapists...just as non sensical...answers a question with a question...kinda clever, but still not really responsive.

And Alice. I've programmed several chatbots in my time. It's not hard, and if you have enough memory you can do a sort of "pseudo-learning". And yes, the "denying being a bot" is a joke from a very very early chatbot, Alice.

This one doesn't seem to be much more sophisticated than Alice, though.

I went to the site, like you pointed out, and it asked my name again, and instead of using my name again, I said I was Barak Obama. Look at what it said:
