For parents, check your colleges out carefully. Don't be impressed by nice clean, new buildings and sports facilities. Instead, talk to the professors, and try to ascertain what their views are, in their field. It will tell you a great deal about what your sons and daughters will be exposed to.

Very good advice. My brother went to a well known engineering school in the early sixties and came home at Christmas spouting Marx. Dad went ballistic. I (age 9) listened to the debate and came to the conclusion that Marxism sounded nice and fussy but it certainly did not take human nature into account and was therefore doomed to fail. In the fifty years since then I have seen no facts that have changed my mind.

As I said elsewhere the left call the present system "free Market Capitalism" and the right calls it "socialism" it is neither it is Fascism headed toward Feudalism as the wealth and power becomes more and more concentrated in the hands of fewer and fewer. Soon we will all be serfs with no freedoms or property rights.

The property rights war just lost a major battle.

Today, October 21, 2009 in Wisconsin Circuit Court, Polk County, Judge Molly E Galewyrick found the Monchilovich couple (Amish) guilty of failure to register premises... ppjg.wordpress.com...

In Wisconsin, if a premise is not listed on the title to the property, they must gain voluntary (informed – this is a contract after all) consent of the owner. They cannot mandate a person to register a premise on their property.

The premise ID law itself is illegal!!!

Further, it destroys the argument that premise registration under NAIS does not affect title. It does. This is not a simple granting of an easement – it is a formal change in the basic ownership of the property in question. You don’t even get the consideration offered when they take property under eminent domain!! ... brownfieldagnews.com...

Definition: Premise is a synonym for the word tenement. A definition of the word tenement in law is: Property, such as land, held by one person “leasing” it to another. Webster’s New World Dictionary 1960 College Edition defines “Premises” as the part of a deed or “lease” that states its reason, the parties involved and the property in “conveyance.” Webster then defines “conveyance” as the transfer of ownership of real property from one person to another.

It is quite obvious that the bureaucrats in Washington had a very good reason to use the term “premises” and never mention “PROPERTY.” Derry Brownfield

Very interesting information-starred.
As for fascism, I completely agree. I've posted several threads that stated that Obama is leading us into a complete fascist state. Whenever business and government meld together, you have fascism. The MSM, of course, is a partner in this endeavor, as they hope to feed off of the crumbs that the government drops. The MSM are political whores of the first kind.
My concern is that the average "Joe Sixpack" doesn't have a clue as to what is ahead. Give them their football, beer and reality tv and they'll lie still for anyone or anything. I truly believe that our last hope is the military. They are all that stands between the government and a complete fascist state.

As I stated before the MSM was bought and paid for in 1917.

I know for a fact that the MSM is used by TPTB to manipulate us. In one case I was at ground zero so I knew the real facts, In the second case NAIS has had a complete media blackout - Derry Brownfield was pushed off the air by Monsanto and three reporters in Florida were fired, others in the public eye were warned to keep their mouths shut. In the third case, in a private e-mail, John Munsell told me how a New York magazine reporter spent several days interviewing him about food safety, wrote the story, had it approved by the editor and then had the OWNER of the paper kill the story. The unreported incident later lead to a Congressional investigation after a woman died.

Yes it is fascism however the number of people in control of the corporations is becoming fewer and fewer so ultimately it will more closely resemble a type of feudalism. Once us old folk die off I think that is what is planned. Take a look at the Wildlands project map (It almost passed Congress) and you can see what I mean. No humans allowed in the red areas and you can only live in the green areas.

Then we have from President Clinton Not only the World Trade Organization but the President's Council on Sustainable Development

....On the heels of the President's Council on Sustainable Development clinton4.nara.gov... came the Community Empowerment Board, chaired by Vice President Al Gore, which included 26 federal agencies. Through these initiatives, the Delta Region Study Commission was formed. For eight years, this study commission, funded by Congress, defined and catalogued every facet of economic, social, and environmental activity throughout 240 counties in eight states....

...Mostly people are totally unaware of terms like; Agenda 21, Biospheres, Sustainable Communities, Heritage Sites, Buffer Zones, Corridors, Rewilding, Stakeholders, Partnerships, Consensus, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Regional Governance, or that they now live in Region one, five, or seven et al?...

Regional Governance:
Region One: Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont. Regional Capitol-Boston

Region Two: New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands. Regional Capitol-New York City

Region Three: Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia. Regional Capitol-Washington.

And on across the county to Region Ten.

Also, not on the 'news', is the fact that six Regional Commissions are in place, pending final approval, which impact states from New York to California; from Florida to Washington. Few people realize that these regional commissions even exist, or the growing influence they have over the lives of ordinary people (us) by providing the mechanism through which appointed individuals, rather than elected officials, develop public policy....

Regional government, a bigamous form of government, is complicated (deliberately so), expensive and devious; but the situation is further confused, because it does not stop at our borders. It is a worldwide setup under the United Nations. This means, laws, policies, executive orders and administrative rules adopted here are often the result of recommendations made by self-appointed international 'decision makers'.

You can then add President Bush's Contribution on top of the Lisbon treaty:

“In a sweeping move that has garnered surprisingly little attention this week the United States and the European Union have signed up to a new transatlantic economic partnership that will see regulatory standards “harmonized” and will lay the basis for a merging of the US and EU into one single market, a huge step on the path to a new globalized world order.” The BBC reported from the Summit in Washington on Monday:"
stopspp.com...

So when I used the word "feudalism" I meant "feudalism" the fiefdoms have already been carved out we just do not know who are lord and masters are. I think those who would rule us learn their lessons from the past. According to G. Edward Griffin:

From the Bank of England forward all the governments of Europe had central banks for a very good reason. The kings and princes of Europe had learned from hard experience that they could raise the taxes of their subjects only so high and then they had a revolt on their hands and they tended to lose their jobs (and heads). It appears that that natural level was about 40-43%; people will tolerate taxes up to about 40-43% and then they start digging in their heels and they just won't allow it to go any further. But with the central bank mechanism in place the lid was off. Now these governments could tax their people 50%, 60%, 70% and in some cases 80% of everything they produced and they did not have a revolt on their hands.

I doubt if we will ever be allowed to know who the real world leaders are because they are cowards who do not wish to lose their heads!

About Joe Sixpack. Actually since he or his friends just got hit in the wallet he is much more awake at this time.

I tried to tell people about the threats to our food supply a couple of years ago - no interest. Now if I start with banks creating money from nothing (fractional reserve) and collecting 100% of Your taxes plus all your interest payments ... I get TELL ME MORE.

I try to give a short lecture lead into the food crisis and hand out an index card with the following links to google:

The Creature from Jekyll Island
Secrets of the federal reserve
A primer on money
Confessions of an economic hitman
History HACCP and the food safety Con Job.

Project Vote Smart
Fully informed jury
state nullification tenth Amendment

Money and food are noncontroversial and will lead them to open their eyes. I then suggest they pass the information on to ten friends.

Since the bankers own the republican and democratic parties maybe it is time to vote third party or at least carefully checkout our present Congress critters voting record and not what he says. I also remind them that an informed jury trumps Congress and the Supreme Court and states can 'nullify' a federal law.

We are not helpless we just need to wake up and grab back the reins of control.

Last night, Bill O'Reilly had Dennis Miller on, and O'Reilly said that this situation in the US could lead to a REAL revolution, and Pelosi could end up in the Boston Harbor. Here is the video. O'Reilly made the comment starting at about 5:18 into the video:

Thanks for the video. I do not watch TV so I missed it.

Yes I think the state and federal government may have a "taxing" problem on their hands. They seem to forget that humans are not isolated. If some one in my family or a close friend loses their job and then their home, I am going to take them in. That means my resources are going to be stretched thin as my energy, water and food costs go up. If the "idiot politicians" who "caused" the problem THEN try to take an additional 10% on top of the 64.5% I am already paying I am going to be very Angry.

Anybody checked out the post on david icke.com about the Fort Knox gold. His post links to the "Market Oracle". Basically all/ or most of the gold at Fort Knox is gold plated tungsten. Seem like a legit article.

This story has gone viral in the last two days. It's hard to research the truth, especially on a weekend when government offices are closed. Virtually all of the stories and articles on the internet today are word for word copies, so there's not much real new information above and beyond that. It certainly is plausible, since tungsten has the same density as gold, and would be the obvious choice if one were to pull this off.
