Before 9/11 we were split and divided as a nation and a world.

After 9/11, even if it was briefly, the nation and the world was united in its disgust at the act. Then you TRUTHERS came

This has to be a joke, right ?! I love democracy (or at least what it means to me) and that is why I want, I need the truth. There is no denying that there are MANY inconsistencies regarding the official story, even within the official story. Before there was any sort of truth movement, at least near me, I realized something wasn't right. I went out the day the 911 commission report was for sale, I devoured it like a trashy novel, all the while writing in the margins things that didn't add up. Years later, when I became aware that there were people, many people, many educated and experts in all fields pertaining to the tragedy, I realized perhaps my initial instincts were correct. There is no denying there was a serious breakdown in protocol leading up to, during, and after the attacks. Even IF our government was only guilty of gross negligence and complete incompetence, that's more than they have currently admitted to, and even that is to deny evidence.

Actually, this part of what you're saying really bugs me.

What kind of moron would ACTUALLY believe that 9/11 would 'unite the world', as you put it?

Only narcissists who think that everyone feels as bad as Americans do that they were attacked.

Only narcissists who can't see that the 9/11 events were a RESPONSE to decades of hedonistic foreign policy abuse and foreign exploitation, and not the 'first stone thrown'.

Only narcissists who forget that nearly 25% of the world's population is Muslim.

Only narcissists who forget that prior to 9/11, American troops were stationed in 70% of the countries around the globe, half of which they could probably not locate on a map, and not all of those countries were happy about it.

Get the picture? Not all of the world was 'united in disgust'. In some countries, INCLUDING THE US, there were people dancing in the streets and celebrating.

That, IN ITSELF, means your OP is baseless, as the 'united world' you accuse truthers of pulling apart never existed in the first place...
