UFO sighting in Peckham

Who knows, but it is kind of interesting how three of them seemed to be holding a perfect triangular formation near the end. But could just be a coincidence.

Is it just me.....or are all recent sightings just obscure dots of lights in the sky?.....where's the shape to these things? why on earth would anyone think these dots of light are UFO's?

This video is just Chinese lanterns, check out some of the videos on youtube.....just search "Chinese lanterns" and you'll see that they are exactly the same!

Either you believe or you don't. Hmm, I wish that didn't seem to be the case.
You would think we were in China the way people think that something as dangerous as those lanterns are used by or near everyone seeing unexplained lights.

Proof is what you make it. Most on ATS will never believe anything they see or hear, period. This is all there is to life and society, and everyone from history who believed in the unexplained were ignorant fools.

Laws of probability pretty much exclude that every single light in the sky claimed to be lanterns by skeptics and disbelievers are 100% lanterns or something 'normal'.

You were the first poster dude. Do you have those lanterns on 'speed upload'? What would you need to believe? Getting shot in the head by a little green man? Do you know what proof you need?

I typically keep my full opinions to myself, as most ATSers don't seem to believe in much of anything, and any fodder for their cannons will be fired upon.

Be honest with yourself. Why post lantern images that won't convince believers and simply encourage the toxi-skeptics? Most likely the first answer to come is why post anything then? I don't know.

Of course the old 'chinese lanterns ' explanation comes out . More and more sightings around the earth that are exactly like this video. That's alot of chinese lanterns.

Lanterns lanterns lanterns.. you know what gets me about that lame excuse? Bloody hell england sents off so many lanterns the sky should be on fire. Not to mention hands burnt, and anything else you can think of because one factor is always left out ASIDE from this one. First factor. These lanters and an anual thing.,. Has england hade some sort of hyperdimensional time shift or soemthing because there were 30 posts from different areas with annual; lanterns as the cause. (allegedly) THEN
to top that off.. the second factor. Maybe england loves these lanterns. maybe they let them go there once a bloomin day to say its a new year just to have an excuse to let these lanterns off. Now.. WOULD not the citizens of england be used to seeing lanterns? floating chinese or not? why would they get so excited over something they see every day. seriously thats like NASA flipping out beccause they have to air brush another pic

HOLY [snip]! SeeingUFOsPA just posted a new sighting!!!! UFO's Morph into Jolly Ranchers... what looked like a jolly rancher thrown by some bloke what likes candy.. this was actually a UFO decending to terra firma LASER BEAM TASTE BUD DESTROYERS TOO you can see them in IR..

probably some highly intelligent flight formation. Just a question if 3 planes,ufos or lanters are in the sky and are not in a straight line is there any possible way they would NOT be in a triangle?

This video is ancient and was on here about 9 months ago.

As I said the last time, I thought it was cool, but as this area is part of a holding pattern for jets landing at LHR, anything up in the sky would have caused hell at air traffic control and as this is pretty much central London (about 5 miles from Whitehall), anything not responding to radio would have been chased off (only shot down if further out) by fighters as it/they would have been presumed to be hostile (i.e. Al Qaida)

So you've either got a lot of things very low or a lot of things very high up and very bright, given the light pollution in the area.

Glad to see that people in Peckham actually look up at the sky though!

Believe it or not, chinese lanterns are fairly new to UK...but are picking up in the popular stakes very very fast!....I had never seen one until last year Now I see them often In fact I saw one about a week ago near where I live! If you check e-bay you'll see you can buy them very cheaply......I wouldn't of known that I could buy them until someone pointed out the sale of lanterns on ebay to me!
Can you imagine the amount of people in the UK who don't realize Lanterns are being bought and used in the UK??...hence all these "ufo" sighting reports

I have also seen orbs during the day omitting no light...but showing intelligence!

Why is it a problem to a accept these sightings as lanterns??
We celebrate birthdays, weddings etc etc with parties!! Parties that could involve any form of sparkler or banger........I've been online for 8 years yet chinese lanterns are fairly new to me.....i'm not chinese you see

Dude, Chinese lanterns are a FIRE HAZARD and are ILLEGAL in a great deal of areas!!!

ONE Chinese lantern could theoretically burn hundreds of thousands of acres. If regular sparklers and fireworks have trouble maintaining their legality, the lanterns don't fare better at all.

Why am I talking to you? You don't believe that it is possible to not be lanterns.

OBEY! CONSUME, BECOME OBESE!!

Well ive just seen the video. Looks a bit strange how the three orbs to the left are stationary but the orbs on the right are moving? Surely if they were lanterns they would all be travelling in the same direction?
