You all know I am not talking about unemloyed people that were laid off. I am talking about people who don't want to work. Most unemployed people would give their left nut for a job.

They already have a job. All of them, seriously.

For some is is scapegoat and for others it is a statistical watermark. Still for others it is an example of how not to become, but most importantly their job is a justification for a system that has many government workers and government office holders.

Instead of condemning your fellow man, why not actually do something that would give them the true means to rise above a system that keeps them down for its own self-fulfilling need?

It is easy to complain that they have no jobs, but what are you doing to provide them with a job? Quite a number of people spend their lives gambling, selling drugs, selling sex, attending mandatory checkins, making doctor visits. Buying booze, buying cigarettes, buying substandard foods, buying various unneeded trinkets and baubles such as rims, old cars, the gasoline at $5 at a time.

Go to any city and visit the "bad part". What businesses do you see open? Ethnic Food Restaurants, Cricket/wireless dealers, Convenience Stores, Liquor Stores/Carry outs/Drive-Thru's. Maybe a grocery store and maybe a pharmacy. Of the closed businesses it varies.

And every entrepreneur says the same thing, "I don't want to be robbed and/or shot." when asked why they do not have a store in that area.

I don't know, maybe it is just me but if you treat people like dirt, then they will act like dirt. I am rarely ever bothered walking or driving through any part of any city I have ever been in. And as a former over the road truck driver I have had to sleep in some very bad parts of some very bad cities.

I don't mean to get personal or offensive here, StinkyFeet, but when you say you were troubled by alcoholism, were you judged by others for your ailment? If so, how did that make you feel?

Just, for a moment, imagine what you're asking of a lot of people with this ideal you've presented.

Look we all know most business owners would sell you their own mother for the right price.
If they could make a profit they would be there. The thing is you can;t make a profit when you are getting robbed and having half of your inventory shopliffted.

Though, I do agree that it is sad that they whole neighborhood has to suffer just because some minority cannot follow the rules.

Oh yeah I was judged and shamed and I am thankful for those people being in my life. The people that are the most damaging are the ones who tell you that it isn't your fault or your the victim of alcohol. Those are the enablers and though they mean well they prove the old adage that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for a person is to give them a swift kick in the ass to realign their priorities.

Ah, I see. Well, it's great that you've recovered from it all and stuff. I'm happy you managed to beat it. I guess that approach works for some people, but it doesn't work for all people.

We all have different personality types, and each one will react differently when faced with certain situations.

I like how the OP completely ignored the fact that people living off ssi/welfare/unemployment are required to apply to over 10 jobs a week. The people that do not apply for work do not receive benefits unless they are mentally or physically unfit to work. These people are supported by donation funded institutions or their families. Rest assured, the people that aren't seeking work are not taking your tax dollars, therefor they aren't a problem you should concern yourself with.

Might want to re-read those paragraphs. The fact that money is exchanging hands is evidence of an economy. Not the best or "desired" economy. If the segment of money flow dries up and is not adequately replaced then problems become compounded even more.

I also notice a lack commentary on the rest of the post. What of the social workers, police officers, lawyers (prosecutors and public defenders) etc. of "legitimate employed" people that would no longer be needed.

And I will trust that your use of the word minority was meant for the "few people" and not a racial usage of the word minority.

Hon, 5 dollars is to cheap look what the Washington madam was making in this time and age.

You could make hundreds of thousands.

Now the reality of the forgotten growing future of our children in a jobless nation.

Jobs for America's Unemployed Teenagers,

The unemployment rate for Americans between the ages of 16 and 19 reached a Depression era level of 25.5 percent in August -- the highest point since the Labor Department began keeping those records more than a half century ago. Most of these 1.5 million unemployed young people live in urban areas where few jobs exist and are unlikely to be created in the foreseeable future. If, as many economists predict, the national unemployment rate reaches double-digit levels and remains high for three or four years, the United States risks losing a major portion of this new generation to drift, sloth and crime.

Direct government employment is the fastest, surest and least expensive - if not the only - way to create enough new jobs for them. The problem is similar to the one that FDR faced in 1933 when half the nation's young men aged 15 to 25 had only part-time work or none at all. FDR's response was to quickly initiate a jobs program for them that ultimately became one of the most popular New Deal programs - the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).

All I want to know is why do you think it is wrong to make people go to work o go to jail, but then think it is ok for the government to say we need to buy healthcare or go to jail?

I say unless you are quadrepalegic then you should be able to do something useful. I know there is high unemployment, but lets put people to work for minimum wage to clean the streets by hand or to carry a working person's breifcase from place to place.

I say if you refuse to work, you should get the same fines as what they propose in Healthcare "Reform" for not having insurance.

There is no excuse not to work unless you are severly ill or severly handicapped. Even most people in wheelchairs can drive around and move somthing from place to place or work in an office answering the phone.

Work is good. Work raises your self worth and makes you a contributor instead of a taker. Work is a health issue. Work is healthy!

Your right, lets make work mandatory or you go to jail. You must have a job and if you don't work or find one you stay in jail for a time. Then your let out to find a job and if not you get locked up for longer and on and on. What you are proposing is 21st century Serfdom. There is only so many jobs that will pay money for labor in any society, and by allowing something like this you can bet your bottom dollar that wages across the board will be lowered exponetially. If everybody must find a job no matter what, why then should the employeer pay the best salary. He has the best of both worlds, a large supply of workers skilled and unskilled and a demand for jobs on the workers part. When you have that you can pay engineers 10 bucks an hour and guess what they will take it because they are in competition with everyone else within working age and two the employeer got them over a barrel and don't need them even at 10 bucks an hour he could say this is it take it or leave it.

Now they have you at their place of employment, and can literally make you do whatever they want because you are desperate to stay in the job because you may not find one as "good" as the one you have and two don't want to go to jail or prison. Then what about the people that can't find a job but must have one, then work is made by the same employeers and even private citizens of means by having people (lets use the wheelchair example) to come in your home and help by moving boxes for your wife's home business. But they aren't going to pay you minimum wage or anything like that they may pay you a dollar or two an hour (if you think this is bad and won't happen, look at what prisoners make in the prison work industry). Now this private citizen can hire for a time or a length of time a number of people for pennies on the dollar or less to do odd jobs around the house. And since the companies and the small business employeers aren't paying enough, they need housing so the companies and small businesses and people with means start making places for their workers to live for "free" if they continue to work off their living conditions (company store).

You see the people have come from a private citizen to become serf/debt bondage/peonage/indenture/truck system, take your pick they are about the same, your a SLAVE in due time. And if you think this is a police state, what until something like this comes into being. You will truly see what evil can come from nice people when given to much power over people lives.

Lets do away with all employements known, as they are operated, all banking systems and money. Lets join together and walk away from the current system, armed and refuse to ever participate with TPTB again. Lets have a system like advanced ETS do, higher eductation and volunteering, about 4 hours a day for those who are able bodied. Mothers with young children, aged and handicapped are not able bodied, and already working.

I'm not a slave to any annanuki corporation. We don't need to be and should never ever have allowed anyone to deprive people of their inheritant rights to land, and resources. We're soveriegn. Yet, there is still a social obligation or you become TPTB, and not an advanced race at all. Ets also have Universal Understanding, that is after 5D, they are connected in one mind yet individual. I've experienced that, that was a beautiful gift. You never would allow your family, anyone to go hungry and you would walk everyones shoes and find out many work harder than you do without employment. A homeless person with failing health is putting in 200% of their energy and nearly dying from the small efforts, if their metabolism and health is failing. Lets end that forever.

I do not support your annanuki ideas at all. And I'm sovereign. But I will say, if you try a dog eat dog style of walking away, you'll never ascend or make it to 5D. It takes heart, mind and soul and being one, and looking after your brother, and mother earth and nature. But it doesn't take corporate jobs or banks. We just need our own children, who have graduated from trainings such as medicine, nursing, science, and never need TPTB again.

I repeat, a moneyless society of higher education with small volunteering, and occasional assignments for young and able bodied, and everything gets down nicely. We HELP EACH other build homes and do organic farming.

Anything else is actually a crime against humanity.

Less laws and more freedom. If anything people should stop paying taxes because the government is stealing it to fund their own underground projects to take over everything. We need a revolution so that the people can take back their liberties. More farms and more independent sustainence. We need to supply ourselves with what we need to live without having to import things.

We need to return to a more agrarian lifestyle where people work together in a healthy balance of nature and life. We need to not depend on companies and monopolized powers but rather create everything we need on our own together. Forget civilization as we know it.

If this happens you will see that people naturally fall into work. Those that perhaps don't work for what ever reasons would probably find the therapuetic reasons why something like this would create a desire in them to become a part of it.

Forcing people to work within the structures of our civilization will just create more problems. As it is people are having to contend with the hopelessness of our mundane lives working, paying bills and never getting ahead. Not many people are happy nowadays. People's stressors are becoming more evident with the flurry of people having to take anti-depressents and many other medications just to get by and bandaid the problems. The symptoms are all around you.

If health care is mandatory, then everyone is going to have to work to pay for health care, or they'll go to jail.

Oh, forget mandatory health care. Now it's going to be mandatory hiring. Everyone with a job is going to have to hire people to carry their briefcase.

I mean, America can't afford to pay everyone minimum wage, you know.

If I went to a doctor and told him about them aliens in my head, he'd label me a pschizo and toss me in the nut house. I'd probably never get out. But I still work full time and make nearly 40 grand a year. I've encountered blind people in wheelchairs that are severely handicapped and work just fine. One guy was even doing my job better than me, and he couldn't see the computer screen.

The severely handicapped work just fine.

Work raises your self worth if you're a non-black dude. The hunnies go absolutely crazy over those non-black dudes. They're just so WORTHY. And many work places are quite dangerous, not healthy, dood.

You've just got it all wrong. Oh, wait.. Stinky... that's the pro-Israel crew.. that splains it.

I was about to say the same thing friend.

StinkyFeet, you need to be fitted for one of those "special" hockey helmets... now you should run along before one of the SN nurses catches you on her computer, again, and you get yourself a stiff time-out.

BTW, you just may have broken a new ATS record, 0 flags, 2 stars but 114 replies (7 pages worth). You have truly outdone yourself, congrats.
