i dont know if im missing it or what but where exactly is my vote button at i havent been able to find it thanx for any help

can anyone help me find this hidden button to use the way above top secret vote? any one??? please??? thank you if you can !

WATS was done away with around may or june earlier this year. We have flags and stars now. I guess you missed the 1 to 5 star rating system as well, don't worry it was short lived .

thanx so much it was driving me a lil crazy i signed up on here a long while ago and just came back now that everything in my life has calmed down and i remembered the button before but then couldent find it so i was going a lil nuts looking for it lol so we have stars and flaggs now hmmm ill have to make sure i use them.

Was this feature disabled? I mean I don't swear often in posts but it would be nifty to be able to see un-obscured posts. I am myself an adult and am completely capable of handling a bit of vulgarity.

No big deal at all just wondering if this was a feature at some point that got taken out. I do agree with the automatic censers and I don't try to circumvent them.

I am frustrated. I tried to make comments about the excessive quoting post and I was blocked. NOW I can't even quote the original post and I have to come into this thread to comment on another thread as I was linked to this thread with this:
"Use this thread to post your comments about this information"

Points:
1) editing text that one quotes.
I suggest a "...." be put at the cuts where you have edited out information from the original quote.

2) Sometimes you NEED to include the quoted posts of the person you are replying to and the person they replied to in order to capture the sub thread.

NOTE: when I see a post that has text that I have already read I just skim over it.

The blogs are broken? Not new news that you cant make a NEW blog post.. but now the old posts and pages have disappeared as well...

Zed? do we have an archive?

I put so much work into my blog and had alot of things documented in it... is there any way to save my work?

How do we end up with a negative as I noticed a few days ago I now have a negative number ATS Points: -862
BTS Points: 3
I think I had about maybe 6points ,The other day I deleted all cookies and private data would this off put my points into a negative?

I have a question regarding avatars. I see some people have pretty elaborate ones with "ATS/above top secret" and "deny ignorance" on them as well. My question is did they create them themselves? or were they bought with points? and did it require them getting permission before using the ATS and the Deny Ignorance on their photo?

The avatars are member created and we have a few 'specialists' who have kindly donated their time and expertise....

I totally understand why the censoring is in place and do not object to it. I'm just wondering about a specific case of mine - Why is it necessary to censor, "Crock of poo."?

It might be me...But how can I change my signature?
All mentioned buttons in the FAQ I am supposed to push aren't there...?!?

For example the 'account settings' button...I really do not see this on my ATS anywhere...?

Also not when I am visiting the page that contains the 'Edit My Extended Profile Information' textfields and so.

Could someone please point out to me how I get to the page were I can change my signature? I have looked and looked and looked again, but nope...

I respect the point deduction sysem very much but i do have some sugestions, THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT! it's suggestions on how to make T&C a little more easy to understand for new users, using my personal experience, so i feel this is the correct place to post it instead of the complaint thread. My very firs time i got docked 1000 points...and it was SOOOOO hard for me to get to the 250 points that i had because people do not take you seriously wuntil u get at least a couple hundred, i found instances where i made a thread that go no replies, then tried it again after i had a couple hundred, and started getting replie right away...and it was the same topic! You see, i haven't even been here a month, and i thought i read all of the T&C but i didn't click the side links that were on the main page...thereofore i didn't know i was abusing it in some cases. I knew u shouldn't have two threads about same topic, so i tried to combine the two threads...the only was i could figur out how to do it was to quote the 5 replies i had on the earlier thread to the new one...BIG mistake i know, but i didn't know any other way to do it.... now i'm -750 points and everything i did was an honest mistake...why can't we have 1 warning for minor offenses, without a decuction, because i really don't know how to get taken seriously now, and if i had been warned i would never had done it! You see, all of my mistakes were tallied up at once, and i was shocked to see that the number was 1000! my gosh, if u read my posts u realize how respectful i am and tollerant to everyones opinion, i never use ignore because i think the only way to see all sides of the story is to even allow prople 100% against me and who don't respect me at all, they have that right, and i want my threads to always be an open door to anyone, unless they make personal attacks that are of a "spiteful" nature instead of jusst highy in disagreement. I'm a fairly smart guy, but this is the first forum i've ever joined, and i think maybe we could find a way to put a checker in the forum that would have come back with a message warning me that i was trying to post too many quotes, of that putting these symbols #%@$ in place of a curse word was not acceptable...or maybe docked me the points for each 1st offense, gave me the warnings, but not dock me multiple times for the same ones before i ever got warned! I am a proud member of this forum, some seasoned users have told me that i have a future here and they like the way i think... so please, if your'e reading this ATS members and Mods, i am sorry for the violations, definately learned my lesson, but could someone U2U me about a way that i could maybe change my practices and make my threads better? And i also want to ask those of u reading to please read someone's ideas even if they are a NOOB, because everyone here had to start from 0. Thank You, and KEEP TALKING!

no the same thing happened to me, it's because they can't check your activity everyday, so when they notice one violation of T&C i think they catch other u made up to that point also, and hit u all at once for all of them. hope that helps.
