I really like all ignorants here tells me and others that: If i lived in bla bla land i could not walk around and preach this and that, NO you can not, and that was opposing our countries from theirs, we are democratic and all have a free speech right and the right to believe in anything you want to.

So what you are against is actually democracy and you wanna control who says what and when, that is called fascism no matter what color of paper you wrap it up in.

Best regards

BTW - Exactly how were you planning on defending the home land..?

You guys have no guns, a sick fascination with small knives, and most of your populace (like mine...) is at home watching sports rather than partaking in them - hence, a bad fattitude...

Shouldn't you be out there crackin' skulls instead of in here trying to validate your point of view..?

I also do not like it when people jeer at soldiers. That is my cultural take on the world. But i live in a democratic system were people have a right to view there opinions. Should we pass a law that people cannot jeer at soldiers. Is that the correct thing to do? Is it possible that some people might be upset with what has been happening in the middle east? Lets take Iraq as an example. Our soldiers go over bomb the the place to hell, torture and disappear people. Now people have a right to be upset about this. They have a right to be critical. Just because the likes of us have been brainwashed into never criticizing the forces, they have not.
In reference to the second above post. Is Iran a true democracy? Is it all about how other people treat us. Or is it how we treat them.?

Oh...she's something...You may not realize it just yet, but your protest and the anti-protest are just aspects of that twisted woman's mind. You're both just the physical manifestation of the turmoil within her own mind.

She allowed that thing access to her home and now its trying to eat her. She made a deal with it...that she would feed us, in America, to it, but that didn't work out so now its going to eat her world.

Yours is the beginning of a long battle with a social cancer that doesn't stop until all is gone. Don't believe me? How normal is it for a newly arrived immigrant to immediately start protesting to change laws in their new home? If you don't like the laws, you could have stayed at home...but they didn't stay at home because it was an invasion force.

Want to change things in your society...start by changing things within your own home first.

edit: for niceness.

Not really no, the goal of the EDL isn't us going out in groups beating up anyone who isn't white.
We want the extremists to know there actions will not be tolerated.

Now lets say for example here in good old london town there was a raid on a Church and the vicars had been running lessons teaching people to hate Islam, there would be an uproar, some of the muslims would be on the streets rioting, holding up signs "Behead those who insult islam" Burning the union jack.

Okay.

A lot of hateful threads.

Just learn to get on with people, or face the end of the world.

If we do not learn how to get on with each other, how are we going to get on with aliens - don't make me laugh - WE WON'T! They will take over the world, and we will deserve it.

But that has never happened, why are you creating these scenarios? and they would have every right to be uproar. you have seen one documentary on channel four about Preachers of hate and now you choose to join an All English group to defeat these preachers of hate. Why do you fear so much? I do not believe in an islamofication of Britain. It all seems very paranoid to me.

Do you really believe muslims are going to take over Britain, do you truly believe that to be the case?

So by someone saying they are part of the EDL, you think them a racist?

So a member of the SNP is also a racist?

I saved a similar picture because it was soo weird & crazy!

Things like this makes you wonder sometimes!

Didn't the guy who wrote it also noticed the hilarious contradiction of his message?

Or is this on purpose?

I just want to say, partly in defense of the EDL....we Brits know what it is like to be hated for who you are, murdered just for being you.

Only a sick few would then push that on others...

Of course I am talking about Ireland and the IRA... I have been to Northern Ireland, given the first hand accounts of Protestants who couldn't go certain places for fear of being killed.

I myself had to 'shut up and don't speak' sometimes because we were near people we couldn't neccesarily trust; it is a digusting and horrible feeling to have to hide who you are because if you don't that guy in the car is going to stab you. To have people drive you around the long way to reach places avoiding the catholic areas because some of them knew I was there and would be waiting for me...

So yeah, we know what it's like to be victimised, and only a sad few would do that to others...the EDL 'as fr as I can see' are not doing that however, they have genuine concerns which they are actually brave enough to act on...

I expect people who have come to live in my country to be aware that there are customs and practices that may be at odds with those from the country they come from, and in exchange for welcoming them to live in my country, there is an expection that they will honour my customs and practices.

I would not expect anyone to preach death or encourage people to terrorism, if they have been welcomed in to my country.

It wasnt the EDL who caused the violence at the first march. Innocent men women and kids were attcked in the street by the anti protestors. At the second march certain elements again tried to cause trouble but this time a few more from the EDL were prepared for it ## i have heard, from very reputable sources ##

The EDL actively welcomed muslims, jews, sikhs, hindus to participate and anyone of any colour or religion was welcomed to protest AGAINST hate speech from extreme muslim religeous fanatics. Anyone with C18 or BNP links wasnt wanted.

So please dont all rush to judge the OP when so many of you know nothing about the march or what it stood for other than the snippets you read in either the left or right wing media

OP, fair play for having the nads to post this and open yoursen up to some grief.

I have no problem with people who want to protect their culture from erosion. It seems all we here is how immigrants have the right to maintain their cultures in our countries. I have no problem with this - however it appears we are not allowed to protect and maintain our dearest values lest we be called racist and worse.

Can anyone see the hypocrisy in this way of thinking?

Let me just say one more thing. Immigrants who fundamentally hate the culture of the country they migrate to are not good for that country and it's citizens. People who wish to migrate to our countries in peace and play positive roles by adding to our culture are always welcome.

We need to be discerning and not put everyone in the same basket.

This is a tricky subject, not just to debate but also to contemplate on your own.

While it's true that people coming to Great Britain from other parts of the world, can potentially offer a lot to us in terms of working in specialised areas, once laws are broken, or hate is being preached against us or our way of life, i ask myself, why do we allow people to remain here?

If they truly think British people are evil, and our political and spiritual systems are evil too, why did they come here in the first place? And why don't they leave now that they think they know?

We have taking them in, housing them, feeding them, schooling their children, treating their wounds, giving them money and freedom, and all the other benefits that go along with living in our country, and in MANY cases, at the expense of our own population, who go without so they can have...and then they call us and our traditions evil, is ingratitude in the extreme.

I say, keep and allow the people in who want to integrate into British society, and expel those that don't.

If they don't like us, it's obvious they're here for economic reasons, in which case, the British people who have paid into the system for generations should come first.

If you go to their site you can now purchase one of their very own Black shirts. Whatever next... Jackboots.

www.englishdefenceleague.org...

this makes me feel very uncomfortable. maybe i'm just being too PC and dont really understand the issues fully, but the setting up and joining of such things as an EDL doesn't sit well at all.

The EDL is a group i support after finding out about them.
i have simple ideas on why to support this group.

i think if your going live in any country you go by their rules, culture and tradition.

its just like when you to some ones house you go by their rules, if you dont like it you can leave this is where my support for the EDL comes in they dont have a problem with people coming here and living the british way, but when it comes to the extreme people sorry no thanks either live like us and have pride in the Britain or leave.

I am not a racist or nationalist, and i don't live in the UK but I can understand EDL.

why do all the immigrants are staying if they don't like it. they are free to go to their beautifull free states and there they can have all of their beautifull laws.

never could and never will understand that kind of immigrant behaviour.
i worked for 2 years in USA and all of that time i was behaving as a US citizen would. and while i stayed there i loved and cared for USA as my country because I WENT THERE. and they offered me a job. and they accepted me as a citizen there.
and if i have stayed there i would raise my kids as americans who love america.

point is - if you don't like your new country - go to your homeland and shut your mouth.

Going from a black polo shirt to jack boots does seem to be going over the top.

From a design point of view, a white coloured polo shirt would not support the logo of the EDL as well as a darker colour.

sums it to me does that fella. You went to the trouble of going to the website and on the front page is a picture of a poor bloke getting attacked by a group of muslim lads. yet you choose to comment about what colour polo shirts they are selling instead???????

Seriously, it absolutely amazes me some peoples attitude. If the EDL had picked pink as a colour would it have been a gay issue rather than a nazi one??? If they were THAT extreme dont you think they would have had WHITE polo shirts????

Seriously makes me wonder about some people.... Standby and let the country get ruined because the tshirts clash with your jeans by all means.
