I assume you were referring to my first comment. About Beck being put on TV to pacify people angry on both sides.I know he was on TV but he was on a channel no one watched. Now he's on the highest rated cable channel. There's a big difference.

I know why he's on TV. It's so people can feel like they have a voice on air. Someone addressing there concerns. When really he's there so people will think the things said on sites like ATS are crazy conspiracy talk. Read back through this thread. Some people think he's looking out for them and some people think he's crazy. Exactly the way it was planned.

People who don't watch him think he's crazy. Along with any views he expresses. It's all nonsense to most people because Beck is seen as crazy. Every once in a while he will do something loony like screaming at that lady on the radio. It reinforces this idea in the minds of the people who believe him to be insane.


I hope I'm getting my point across here. Basically, Beck is not looking out for you like you think he is. He brings up some good points but they are dismissed by people who don't already know what's really going on. Because he's seen as crazy. Then if you bring something up to someone who's heard Beck say something similar. Your views will be dismissed also. It's a game and Beck has his role just like every other player.

Even Karl Marx himself stated that Socialism is but a stage to convert a Capitalist nation into Communism...

Communism is an economic system and democracy is a system of government.

There is no direct opposition between Communism and Democracy.

The opposite of Communism is not Democracy, it is Capitalism.

BTW, isn't it ironic that the people who normally are the most fervent followers of the true Socialist, and Communist ideals tend to be mostly some westerners who have no idea, or experience about true Socialism, and or Communism? True Socialism/Communism denounces "individualism" in favor for "the whole" and as such individual rights are LOST, which in itself is part of the reason why true Socialist/Communist nations become dictatorships, since individual rights do not exist because those in the elite think they know what is best for everyone else...

Then there is the fact that these sort of people actually believe that through Communism/true Socialism all the people are in power, as in a form of direct democracy, yet if you seriously think about it you are guaranteed to at least realize that if in a country every person was truly in power, NOTHING WILL EVER GET DONE since every person has a different idea on what is right, what is wrong, and what sort of laws should, and shouldn't exist. This is the reason why Communist nations have, like ALL other nations, a group of people in power. That is apart from the fact that since people give up their "individual freedoms" it sets the stage for the perfect dictatorship.

why does glenn beck expect me to speak without fear when he himself has not, many times over this past week on his fox program he has talked about what he himself is afraid and/or fearful of.

how can glenn beck claim to speak without fear while simultaneously harboring fears himself?

excuse me.

1) i need you to look at the backdrop on jon stewart's daily show on comedy central. or look closely at a flat world map devoid of everything except both water and land.

2) i need you to look at the pacific coast on the entire western side of both north and south america from alaska to the southern tip of south america.

3) i need you to look at a picture of the profile of an ape or of a chimp, or of most primates, the "dominant species on the planet".

4) i need you to see that there is a very real resemblance between the profile of a primates head, and north america's and south america's pacific coastline. the pacific ocean resembles the profile look of a primate's face looking east.

5) i need you to ask yourself what is the statistical probability of thousands of miles of shoreline so closely resembling the dominant species on the planet being a natural phenomenon without intelligent intervention?

6) what variables would be utilized and in what equation to determine the statistical probability of the entire western seaboard of the continents of both north and south america forming the profile of the dominant creature of the planet being a phenomenon devoid of any intelligent intervention?


integrity is best described as "compliance with the facts", not merely being honest with others, which means nothing if your not honest with yourself. if one is not honest with themselves, then logically how can one trust that one?
