I hate Glenn Beck and think he is a NWO shill, but is this not an attempt to get him fired because of his stance on subjects, thereby restricting his free speech?

They are pulling their ads because they don't like what he says right?

Are these companies going to potentially lose out on something if people side with him on an issue?

I'd bet that 99 out of 100 shoppers cannot even remember who is boycotting who, and don't change their shopping habits one bit because of the Beck show.

Today it's Beck, tomorrow it will be ______. Who can keep track?

Well that is what I was thinking,

Glenn Beck is posting records with his ratings. If any of this nonsense is true you can bet more advertisers are lined up for any available slot.

As for Beck himself, I think the man's a freaking lunatic, although I've seen him make a few good points. "Even a blind pig finds an acorn sometimes," as ole' Hunter Thompson once said. Still, I think the man is literally, clinically unstable.

What is it you object to about Beck? He asks questions, provides information about issues that nobody else discusses. He had some very interesting guests talk about personal experiences with ACORN. He digs up more about obama's appointees than anybody else. What about that is lunatic or clinically unstable?

Do you agree with the campaign to pressure advertisers to stop buying ads on his show? All you have to do is not watch. It's a cable news station, for heaven's sake. Nobody forces you to watch anything on Fox News. When people work that hard to shut up talk, it makes me wonder what they are afraid of. What are YOU afraid of?

I am afraid of lots of things, but Beck is not one of them. Nevertheless, as stated I find the man unstable.

The guy regularly bursts into tears on air or gets teary-eyed. I'm too lazy to find it, but somebody compiled a youtube of about a dozen different examples of him sniffling and sobbing on air. Call me old-fashioned, but I find such emotional displays on a mass TV show to be inappropriate and a sign of instability.

I don't care if he goes after Obama all he wants; go get 'em, boy. I care no more for Obama than I did for Bush: to me, they are essentially both symptoms of deeper socio-political rot.

Nevertheless, Beck's "methods have become unsound." He needs to go find a gardina field on the Ohio river and chill out a bit. He seems to be a manifestation of the general decay in the mass media, where everything is image and emotion and quick jump-cuts, rants, etc. Compare this to the old days, when guys like Edward R. Murrow would sit there with a guest and have a slow, measured conversation over an hour or whatever. Apparently the attention span of the American public has been reduced to a shattered, quivvering wreck.

Finally, I object to the way he changed his stance suddenly, around last year. He was all rah-rah go govt, go during the Bush administration...a neocon shill. Now he's pretending to be a "libertarian." Or something. For those of us who spent the last decade fighting for liberty and freedom from increasingly draconian rules, this flip-flop bespeaks monumental hypocracy. He had no problem with caged "free speech zones" and the repeal of the Posse Commitatus law during Bush's administration. Now we are supposed to see him as a bastion of leadership. To me him and those like him who do 180-degree turns regarding freedom are scum with no deep convictions trying to ride the political waves of the moment and more attuned to party ideology than the deeper, underlying reality.

As for big stores pulling his products and advertisers freaking out, generally I am strongly opposed to such things, regardless of content. Let freedom ring.

He actually started becoming very vocal about government altogether around late '06/early '07. He was against a lot of the late Bush agenda, and explains pretty often how horrible he thought Bush's economic policy was (even while Bush was still president).

The only thing I can remember him ever saying that was pro-Bush was his stance on national security, and how Bush did a good job of protecting America.

The emotional outbursts annoy me too, though. I'd totally agree with that one. Otherwise, I see Beck as a pretty decent example of someone who's sick to death of the D.C. machine, much like me and a lot of people I know.

Beck was no way near as critical of Bush as he is of Obama so it's pretty clear he has an agenda. It's a sad state of affairs when we allow partisan hacks to masquerade as journalists and point to ratings to somehow justify their message.

Take it easy people.

Glenn Beck is a Television News commentator. He/Fox are not Obama lovers, nor are they uber liberals like so many Obama supporters are. The Obama administrations baloney campaign is beginning to be seen for what it was and is about.

Barack Obama is a Machiavellian Politican. ( a fancy pants liar ) He is also a radical, with some very nefarious ties to some people who do like the AMERICAN way.

Glenn Beck has been upping the ante, and exposing much of the sinister machinations of his recent cabinet picks, and what some of the organizations who back Obama are really about.

I find it revealing that Obama's ratings in the polls are in a free fall. People are on to his phoniness, and elitist arrogance. He is going to be a flash in the pan...because people are beginning to not want what he is selling.

Glenn is a Patriot, and I do not doubt his love for America.
You do yourself a great dis-service by calling his program NWO shillism, or bullcrap.
I would have to agree that sometimes his goofy antics are a bit much, but, I over look it, and refuse to shoot the messenger!

If his information was garbage, FOX network heads, would call him on it.
They haven't, and are in the works of making him his own studio. He is being paid Millions of Dollars to host his show on Fox. The ratings for FOX consistently strip every network clean, week after week. Not something to poo poo lightly.

The other networks, such as the god awful MSNBC/NBC have watched their ratings tank, even though they are lap dogs for Obama.

GE owns NBC, and it is very revealing that Jeffery Inmelt has been put on Obama's economics advisory panel. GE was one of Obama's huge campaign contributors, that also brought him a massive union vote.

I am a moderate conservative and an Independent. I hate party affiliations, and I hate unions. ( spare me the canned speech about how unions brought prosperity to the abused hourly worker )

What is being exposed on Becks program seems to indicate that the YES WE CAN MAN, is really the nothing more than flimflam con artist.

If you like Marxism, and Socialism, and look forward to living under a Oligarchy and a Thugocracy of Totalitarianism...then Obama is your man.

He isn't mine, and certainly wasn't my choice.

Things are going to come to an ugly head soon. No one is going to like the outcome. I am one of those, that expects this administration to create a false flag event, and blame it on " Tea Baggers, 9-12er's, and anti-Obamacare protestors".

The Anointed One will unleash his hounds...after all, he is the ONE! ( barf! )

Have you ever actually watched MSNBC?

So if someone was wrong before but decides to right those wrongs, he's considered a flip-flopper? Beck was very vocal about Bush pushing the 700 billion dollar stimulous through. You know, the one where we all got a couple hundred bucks that we would have to pay back later? One of Obama's first things to pass was the 787 billion dollar stimulous just a short time after Bush's 700 billion. This is what put the fork in the turkey for Beck. Beck abandoned the two party system and went libertarian to join his buddy Penn Jailette (?). Being libertarian you are still considered a conservative because truthfully, it's the old republican party.... you know, before the neo-cons took over.

So what if he cries. So what if he acts like a monkey. He is still a voice for freedom and constitutional discipline. He helped organize the 9-12 project. He lit a fire under the American people to wake them up, much like Ron Paul and his presidential run. I think you need to overlook the nitpicky things and support the man who "flip-flopped" or "changed for the better" and push the freedom movement further.

I also recommend you freedom-fighters to subscribe to Republic Magazine. It is a libertarian/independent based magazine that is filled with little-known truths and conspiracy. Ron Paul is an icon for the magazine. Glenn Beck is occasionally mentioned on a positive note in the magazine. There are different articles ranging from the secret societies that run the world governments, survival tips for martial law, the process of secession from the Union and many other things. Search "Republic Magazine" in Google or yahoo search engines.

I would not consider Beck a truther, he is quite idiotic at times, but sometimes he exposes or states the facts on something that rubs the government/secret govt the wrong way. To expose any truth that exposes big givernement or corp media lies can cause this kind of stuff to happen
