Walmart, CVS, Best Buy Ditch Glenn Beck (Plus Five More Companies)

Big news today. We've confirmed that eight more major advertisers have pulled their support from Glenn Beck's show -- Wal-Mart, Best Buy, CVS, Travelocity, Allergan (maker of Restasis), Ally Bank, Broadview Security, and Re-Bath.

Overall, twenty advertisers have now ended their support of Beck. We're going to keep the pressure on Beck's remaining advertisers this week, and we'll let you know how you can help.

I would say its more likely people have had enough of his crap.

People drop sports stars all the time for saying and doing stupid things. Is it not plausible yet, probable this is the case and not the big bad scary Obama.. uggh

Okay guys this is the huffignton post.... I have not seen any where else in MSM or from any companies that they have pulled any of there advertisement for Beck... The Huff is not exactly Mainstream except in the Liberal World.

And I dont understand everyones hate for the man finally a third party guy who is getting the message out there. Granted Fox News is a Right-Wing News group, but who else on the right has a voice on TV, the Left dominates every major news cast.

I agree. Beck is aggressively challenging Obama, the DNC and its affiliate organizations and not surprisingly, they don't like it. I think they're just looking for something to tar him with because maybe he IS getting a little too close to the truth for their comfort. In this particular case, he didn't say anything worse than what many liberal commentators have aimed at the GOP over the years.

If companies want to pull support, that's their right. With the ratings Beck is getting, he'll find new advertisers and he's drawing so many new viewers to their other shows that he's safe at FNC regardless.

Your right about sponsor pulling advertising due sports stars all the time for saying and doing stupid things.. But IMHO this is Bas Ackwards.. GB has hit the nail on the head too many times and is getting close to something the big comps don't want anyone to know.Not that I believe everything he has said but in the recent past he has made soo many connections leading back to the source (whom ever the source may be a the airing of his show) but I have yet to hear anything incorret with his information.. No I don't like everything he says BUT, but he is right.. and when you have someone in the lime light who shares and shows this information to the masses it makes you think outside the box.. And as one of the above posteres added - If his information was in anyway shape or form incorrect, he would have law suits out the wazoo..........
