The difference is that the first revolution started with a "REAL" bullet being fired.......not a proverbial one. The tea party was angry men (Sons of Liberty) tossing "barrels" of tea into the Boston harbor...........not a crapload of old fat people swinging "Tetley tea-bags" and whining. It seems we Americans have lost quite a bit of our lustre or passion for freedom. Your examples are hardly a revolution so much as it is picketing. Let's face it, we have really gotten lazy. Those of you who may respond, just agree, I think it's quite evident we have.

The people who were "running the country" were doing it from both sides of the aisle. Plenty of video evidence showing that Barney Frank and the Dems encouraged the kind of loose lending practices that contributed heavily to the financial meltdown. There is adequate blame to go around.

Far as I am concerned though the blame falls back on the voters, both Democratic and Republican who continue to re-elect the same slime-bags over and over again to Congress. Government is out of control, the career bureaucrats who really run things are entrenched and it is not in their interest to stop the growth of government. Add in the element of the population who sees the government as a free ride meal ticket and the whole mess is a recipe for disaster.

As far as the government managing health care, I think the average hard working citizen is smart enough to see what happens to anything when it gets put in the hands of a Federal bureaucracy and they are just plain scared of it. I have read enough of the stupidity they are trying to ram through congress.. and it scares the hell out of me.

I just hope military is not brainwashed enough to call in air strikes on the American people. I also hope foreign troops are not brought in but who knows with Obama. He is a narcissist sociopath lair with tendencies like Nero the Roman Emperor. I could just imagine him giving a thumbs up or down for his decisions. We also must watch and keep track of our vote totals for the 2010 congressional election. They will try to rig these votes to keep Obama's congress in power, that could be the turning point.

That last town hall health care 'debate' he held in New Hampshire just shows what a lying piece of dog crap he is.

I would also encourage people to make their own 'drones' out of remote control cars and planes.

However, I do not believe any of this will happen. This will be a silent revolution I hope.

Please layoff the attacks and stick to the debate.

I think it's game over for Gerald Celente. The simple solution is to print more money just like United States government.

I wanna be President or Prime Minister too
Monopoly money is real and easy

I don't live in America, all i get to see or hear is either on here or on the media. Are a large percentage of Americans *actually* angry,or is it a small but vocal minority when it comes to the streets and day to day life/conversations?
I can't imagine a large percentage are getting angry enough to do anything about it,except moan and wait for it to get passed, moan some more and forget about it within a year...then again im not on the ground.

The media is telling you it is a small minority but we are the majority. The media considers half of the country as being conservative so that is minimum of 100,000,000 people. I figure at least 70 million people will do battle if they really need too. Right now I would have to guess at least a minimum of 2,000,000 are actively involved in this great awakening and informing their friends, co workers and others. I can also personally say I contacted every police dept and military base in Oklahoma to inform them that they should think twice before following government orders to attack or roundup the majority of peaceful Americans; or try to implement forced vaccines. Right now about 2/3 of all police and military bases in the country have been contacted under this agenda.

You can see the maps at this site.

you must realize that every politicians lies to get in office. Just when we think we voted someone honest in we found out they're a slimball that has been corrupted. The money and sex is very hard for these politicians to turn away once they get on the hill. Therefore the blackmail evidence is already there, ei Mark Sanford.

Nothing but a bunch of loud protests from the unhappy 25% of the public who loved GW Bush and all he stood for and hate on Obama. I don't believe this garbage.

This thread reminds me of this little tidbit I read today -

"A Day in the Life of Joe Middle-Class Republican"

Joe gets up at 6:00am to prepare his morning coffee. He fills his pot full of good clean drinking water because some liberal fought for minimum water quality standards. He takes his daily medication with his first swallow of coffee. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to insure their safety and work as advertised.

All but $10.00 of his medications are paid for by his employers medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance, now Joe gets it too. He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs this day. Joe’s bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

Joe takes his morning shower reaching for his shampoo; His bottle is properly labeled with every ingredient and the amount of its contents because some liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some tree hugging liberal fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air. He walks to the subway station for his government subsidized ride to work; it saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees. You see, some liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

Joe begins his work day; he has a good job with excellent pay, medicals benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe’s employer pays these standards because Joe’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union. If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed he’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some liberal didn’t think he should loose his home because of his temporary misfortune.

Its noon time, Joe needs to make a Bank Deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe’s deposit is federally insured by the FDIC because some liberal wanted to protect Joe’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the depression.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae underwritten Mortgage and his below market federal student loan because some stupid liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his life-time.

Joe is home from work, he plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive to dads; his car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his boyhood home. He was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electric until some big government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification. (Those rural Republican’s would still be sitting in the dark)

He is happy to see his dad who is now retired. His dad lives on Social Security and his union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn’t have to. After his visit with dad he gets back in his car for the ride home.
He turns on a radio talk show, the host’s keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. (He doesn’t tell Joe that his beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day) Joe agrees, "We don’t need those big government liberals ruining our lives; after all, I’m a self made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have".

great read. Obamas marshall law endgame.

logisticsmonster.com...

Now, before you get too excited, bear in mind that all of this was likely Obama’s goal. To bait us into rebellion. Boiled down, all of these state measures are threats of secession. Recall, if you will, Obama’s obsession to be the 21st Century Abraham Lincoln, and his ominous calls to recreate and rebuild America. Who was Lincoln? Why, he was the man who “preserved” the Union by way of implementing military force against states that had seceded. Lincoln knew full well that he would not be preserving the Union, but that he would be conquering sovereign nations, nations whose cultures and ideologies he would then have to destroy, and then remake, in the image of the North’s, in order to maintain their subjugation. And that is precisely what happened in the aftermath of Lincoln’s war of aggression. He didn’t preserve the Union, he changed it forever and handed unprecedented powers to the Federal Government.

…snip…

Now I’m going to run with a theory.

So, what if Obama, Soros and Emanuel understand fully that our current, sudden, violent lurch into Socialism will not be tolerated by many to most of the American people, and that these people may possess sufficient physical concentration in order to secede in large territorial chunks, including those already defined by current state borders? They understand that they will be facing a crisis, right? Well, what is a crisis to the current Marxist regime of Obama other than an opportunity? Based on Emanuel’s stated philosophy, one can conclude that he and Obama seek the greatest crisis that they can possibly create. And this is it. Civil war born of broad secession is the Mother of All Crises, and therefor it is the nirvana of all crises. The current regime seeks civil war just as it seeks oxygen and food. And the actions of Abraham Lincoln provide the precise blueprint by which Obama can achieve all of his life ambitions. They provide the map with which he can navigate to the zenith of personal power, the desired destination of every narcissistic psychopath. Yes, he is a dedicated Marxist, but only insofar as Marxism is his chosen vessel to reach his ultimate goal of Absolute Power. He will defend Marxism until the day he dies, for Marxism is the only means by which he can be king, and being king is the only reason for which he lives.

In order to possess long-term dictatorial powers, Obama must recreate America as a Marxist culture and Marxist economy protected by both a limitless intelligence agency and a paramilitary police force. Once these goals are achieved, the traditional military will be preserved to support similar revolutions overseas, and to defend against foreign threats. (Subduing you is his first goal, but not his ultimate one. His brain his already 150 chess moves past the end of the upcoming American civil war. You are but stepping stones. In his mind, he’s already buried you.) Audacious? Yes. The epitome of change? Yes.

if you look at the peaceful demonstrtions of the past.
one thing is so clear a blind man would see it.our govt. will
find a way to use violence to stop anything deemed a threat
. i think we are being pushed,
towards a revolution. all the high tech stuff, is at their disposal
not ours. it looks like we have no choice, but to play right in to
hands. and most likely many will turn to dust. all this h1n1, so
much hype, but a great many more, dust. the rest will most
likly cower. this is probly their thinking.
but i really can't see it as a time for quoting Ghandi. if you kinow what i mean

There is a fundamental flaw in our government system, with the passing of each bill the government gains more and more control over the people. Slowly but surely we move to total control unfortunately our system of government allows this. Every bill that is passed and made in to law since 1776 has moved us closer to tyranny. Perhaps it we are meant to take down and rebuild our government every so often! I think the one thing that every person must understand is that Government is a system of control. The sole purpose of any government is to exert control over the people! While the system of control used in America seems more civil then most, because we give others the power of control over us with the hope they will use it responsibly they still have the power like any form of government and it can be abused.

Honestly I think a 2nd American revolution is long passed due, however I don't think the majority of Americans are ready to make the sacrifices necessary. It saddens me to see so many people think that we need to move in a different direction then the founders of this nation set forth for us, we moved from that path long ago, and that is what lead us to where we are. The founding fathers left us with a plethora of advice, we where warned about letting banks have power over the value of our money, we ignored it, we where warned to not get in to entangling alliances and alienating other nations in doing so as we have with Israel and the middle east. We where warned that a two party system would be destructive and we ignored it.

How many Americans are there that are ready to sacrifice the illusions of freedom for the real thing, when the truth is that many of us cant even tell the difference between the two!

This is a blatant troll. "Fat, lazy, people" blah, blah. If you read the history of the American Revolution you would know that it began much in the same way as the current revolt. Pickets, town hall protests, whispers, and rumors.

Real revolution is always a ground swell scoff at by those in power and loyalists to the status quo. Not the illusion of grassroots with "hope and change".

Keep up the doom and gloom, while people like myself keep busting their ass, we have this "forecaster" telling me that it is worth nothing. Suck it, literally.

I am a doom and gloomer that continues to bust my ass daily. I run a ranch, a second business, and am working on getting into a nursing program. So, this fallacious argument that 'doom and gloomers' have too much time on their hands is nonsense. (which is essentially what you are implying)

Most of us doom and gloomers are small business owners and professionals (ie physicians, attorneys, engineers, nurses, etc) that see the steep decline in our society viewed through microcosm of our daily lives!
