Let's not forget about this tactic
Still going on!
well no less than the people calling others socialist, even though there is nothing intrinsically bad about socialism..
bad regimes that call themselves socialist doesn't make socialism bad it makes the regime bad.
question for you: if you understood what socialism is, would you consider the term valid when applied to obama?
like communist, socialist is a slur in america, and a safe way to protect someone from being proven to be a racist. when the facts show that obama is
no different than any other president yet people create a double standard that he can't overcome because he is a "socialist".
there is nothing socialist about him, he is a middle of the road moderate that is slightly to the right, he is not anymore socialist than bush or
clinton.
so why is he called a socialist? because socialists are still an allowed target, and since nothing obama has done is really that different from bush,
it can be argued that the issue is something else and the label of socialist is indeed code for him being black.
why wasn't clinton treated the way obama has been? or bush? why was the outcry against obama so much louder? the bailout? the stimulus? ACA?
bush had both, a bailout and a stimulus, the outcry wasn't even close to the grumbling obama got. sure bush gave money back but it was split evenly,
you didn't get the money back you put in, and it didn't do anything other than give people one more payment on their car.
at least obama tried to do something to rev up the economy, but was despised for it, even though it did help, unlike what bush did.
the bailout? well those things were rolling when obama took office, he only took them over.
the ACA? nothing more than a warmed over clinton era republican idea, so how can the people that came up with it hate the idea?
because of who promoted it.
