While it's true that 90% of the people who throw around the term 'socialist' have no idea what Socialism actually is, or how far away Obama actually is from a Socialist, the term can hardly be contrived as a racial gesture.

Seriously, can this guy play the race card a little more? When people refer to Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi as socialist, are they also calling them 'n-word's? If someone says a policy is socialist, do they mean it's a 'n-word' policy? How would that even make sense?

Look, there are some people out there who are concerned that a black man is president. They are dwarfed by the extreme number of people who are concerned that a "socialist" is president. (It's worth noting that both groups are equally misguided). The fact that this MSNBC correspondent can't understand that makes me wonder how he got his job.

I thought it was ridiculous how the white guy was saying we need to train foreigners to do the high tech jobs to keep them in our country. How wrong is that? I thought foreigners only did the menial labor jobs Americans do not want? Why not train Americans to do our own high tech jobs?

Let them believe what they want to believe. They want people to be racist against them so that they will be justified to do whatever they want in the name of 'righteous justice.'

The N-word is used incorrectly these days, and I blame the NAACP for that, even though they 'buried' it in Detroit a few years ago. Since they are still around, black America still believes they deserve more and when they don't get more, they play the race card.

It will never end so long as the NAACP is around, they will always see white people as racist. The more they believe that, the more it will become a reality.

Obviously it's a fight between the left and the right. CNBC doesn't believe the words they speak, but they are amused by the little fires they light in a small segment of the population who want to believe CNBC.

Ah, and I forgot to mention, those in power have admitted to being socialist. Not only that, they are Nationalizing and taking over our companies. They're National Socialists, and just a few powers away from becoming completely totalitarian and fascist. I'm sure they won't suspend the entire Constitution, just bits of it they don't like, and they have the Constitutional law specialist in charge to do just that.

There are certain words that, while they do represent powerful and important problems in society, are overused to the point of meaningless. "Racisim" is fast becoming one of them (if it hasn't alreay years ago).

Ever read about the story of the little boy who cried wolf? Every time somebody invokes the idea of "racism" or mentions "Hitler" or some other similar trope in connection with a much more minor event or phenomenon, the original words lose a bit of their meaning. By calling everything you disagree with "racist," you are actually eroiding the value and meaning of the word "racist," which is a shame because there really are times when such words are appropriate. But if they get dragged through the mud or repeated to the point of mindlessness, their impact is ultimately lost.
