If it was hoaxes why deny it ? Of course one could assume it's for the radio show to avoid losing face but that's silly

Seems like Roswell all over again, first report of sightings, media all over it then all quiet until an official government statement which is an obvious lie.

does anyone know if there was a camera crew filming the truck at the time? (is it for a movie set that was in the middle of filming?) I don't really believe this is the case, but its better to knock em out while we can.

Hopefully more news or witnesses come forward, because this is a very interesting case to say the least....

i find it hard to believe that this was a "movie prop" for the filming of District 9...seeing as how it was released today...or yesterday, seeing that its 3:30am (NOT September like i read in another post), and that this happend around the beginning of the month, and i highly doubt they could finish a movie THAT quick and then have it released. and i have to agree with the people who say if it was a "media hoax" for district 9, you would DEFF. be hearing ALOT more about it, seeing as how the main point would be to promote the movie. And i THINK i read somwhere that the pics were taken in the "early morning" hours...i THINK i saw around 3-5am, WHY would you try and promote something in early morning hours like that? wouldnt it make more sense to do it when more people would see it??? and for the one post, dnt remember who posted or exactly what it said, but something along the lines of the timing being off for them to "silence" people who saw it?...i mean to you honestly think that just the peopel in the cars and driving the flatbed were the ONLY people there?? i dnt think so. they were just transporting it, there could of been an actual crash site, with millitary and government people at it. and as for the whole "tarp" thing, id have to agree with the hiding it in sight thing. IF something did crash, wouldnt you want to get it up and gone as quickly as possible? MAYBE they didnt have a tarp to cover it?? Maybe they did think that tarping it would draw more attention? MAYBE they thought that people would think it was a movie prop or promotion for District 9??? and as far as the windmill blade goes...that dont look like the shape of a blade in the pics. i could see saying the fighter jet, but when you look at the pics closer, they dont look anything alike. Point One: District 9 is set in South Africa - and was filmed there so that's barking up the wrong tree totallly. Just to add to this :

Point Two: It is possible that the event was staged to coincide with the release of the movie. This is just conjecture on my part.

Poitn Three: I actually suggested the new remake of "V" as the candidate if this from a "live" production / shoot set-up. This is currently in production.

It was being transported again last night (8/14/09). The final destination is Wright/Patterson in Ohio. The word I got today is that there is suppose to be a much clearer photo of the tractor-trailer and the closed highway. If anyone knows where to find the new photo, please post.

This is eerily like the opening/closing credits to the PS2 Game "Area51" with the UFO on the flatbed of the truck covered in a Tarpaulin.
If it was for a movie script the producers would need photographic rights for ALL liscenced premises along that stretch of highway, and considering theres no movie cameras filming this I think it rules that out. Plus the fact the only "back-up" crew is the Army and Police escorting this "object" to a unknown whereabouts and not the rightful owners of the prop who would be in charge of the operation and overseeing it.

It could possibly be a militaristic TESLA machine? it has the hallmarks of the top structure of one of these, but why the secrecy and almost black-ops cover-up over it? are they working with HAARP for some experimental Meteorological project in the works.

Also heard that there were 4 UFO landings last night (8/14/09). Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Illinois (I think Illinois, maybe Ohio). If anyone has any info on any of these landings, please post.

Yes, I'm serious. I can't tell you exactly where these landings were because I don't know. All that was said was the states and I'm not sure whether it was Illinois or Ohio on the last one.

I was at a gathering and this information was mention, but not discussed. I am new to the meeting (nothing "official") and I am only willing to point others in the right direction according to what I heard. I'm not going to reveal their position and how they know.

If that isn't satisfactory to others, then I'm sorry and won't bother to post anything in the future. Then again, if others are interested in what little I can provide, maybe at least someone that is an investigator will know where to start looking.

I go to these gatherings for personal edification. I come to ATS for personal edification. I share with ATS because others have shared and I have learned many things.

It was my understanding today, that there are newer (and clearer) photos taken of the highway being closed in both directions last night. Was it the same incident as the OP mentioned, my understanding is that it was although it was last night. When I heard it, I said that I had read about it a couple of days ago and was told that it happened again last night. Same with the 4 landings, although, the landing in Texas apparently was separate from the I-20 incident.

That's about the best I can do, I hope that someone in those areas can follow up with better information.

You should try and find out from these people where they heard about or seen the other photo. That should put us one closer.

I already know where and why they have the information regarding the 4 landings. I understand that it's not what you want to hear, but I'm not going to give out any more information than I already have. As for the new photos, as I previously stated, the highway closing incident came up in the gathering and I told them that I had read about it a few days ago, I was then told that a highway closing happened again in Texas and that there were better photos out there. Who has them, I don't know, but obviously, the person who told me has seen them.

Please try to understand, I am only pointing others where to look for something that I heard from a good source. I really don't know much more than I've mentioned, except who the source is and where they got that information, which I'm not going to divulge. Thanks for understanding.

ok well "point one" i KNOW it wasnt from the "filming of district 9" like someone said it could be (read the posts and you will see where some one said it), because obviously the movie is out. "point two"..WHY would you try something like that in the early morning hours when no1 is hardly out to see it, and if it was for the movie wouldnt you think they would have the district 9 logos on the cars or something? and not block a public highway for a movie?? and yes i know the movie was set and filmed in africa, so why would you be on a highway in the dfw area?? and yes i know the remake of V coming out, that could be a suggestion but again...but with this new info i just read...i doubt that. and yea i would like to see the new photo myself, i will be following this one.

UFO Casebook has posted a small update in this, some new usefull info, and notice how some one said it reminded them of the JAL1628 incident, i did a google image search with that, and the objects people have drawn look alot like whats on the flatbed check it out...
