No but the President DOES nominate Supreme Court justices and set policy.
The Supreme Court doesn't [isn't supposed to anyway] make law. They decide court cases. Yes, the president does set his policy agenda, but that
doesn't mean Congress, the legislative branch, will go with it!

She is going to form a Christian coalition. The Christian Dominion, chridom if you will.
The radical right is about to go over the edge with the Chridom. But do not take my word for it, watch. Watch, not just the disgustingly conservative
Fox News, not just the sickening overly liberal MSNBC, not just the crazed antics of Rush, and not just the supposedly balanced NPR and CNN. No,
watch, the internet as it is now is your friend. Watch and be aware.
Beware of the Christian coalition. Beware of the Christian Dominion. The new Inquisition is about to begin.

When this does not happen will you say that you were wrong and jumped the gun with your obvious bias and faulty logic.

So if this new "Christian Dominion" is formed, so what? Don't vote for 'em if you don't agree with them. You should be happy then because the
Christians would have their own party and would be virtually out of politics. Then they couldn't get you with their "inquisition".

She might have just stepped down to run for something but if she is smart it will be to run for the exit door. The attack dogs are not going to go
away and her family will continue to be raked through the mud and she will end up in worse shape then she is now.

Attack dogs = Main Stream Media
It's really sad but you are probably correct. The MSM will be relentless with their baseless accuasations and they should be ashamed of themselves
especially considering how they never asked one tough question or said anything bad about Obama.

I have to agree with you, I hate to see what they would do to her and her family.
To me it has been like a witch hunt.

Who will keep us safe from Putin in those Russian fighter jets that Palin spoke about during the campaign once she is gone?

Ummm...Putin doesn't actually fly the fighter jets.
But just in case, maybe Sarah will form her own civilian defense watchdog group.

Well, it certainly will not be Obama and his administration.
Obama's foreign policy is abysmal and unfortunately laughable if it were not so serious.

I'd love to debate you on this but this isn't the thread for that. Maybe we will get the chance and you can make your case as to how the Obama
Foreign policy is much worse than Bush's foreign policy,
That would be great fun!

I agree with you about skeletons in Sarah's closet.
My hunch says some major scandal is about to break, maybe concerning Palin's family or maybe her tenure as governor, and quitting is just a
preemptive measure. Better to step down than be forced to quit.
Maybe there just weren't any direct flights to Argentina?

Sarah Palin is doing the best possible thing right now. She is shaking off the dogs that make up phony ethics charges that have been eating up her
time and Alaska's money. Sarah is a fighter and will not shy away from the fight, and with this move she will be free to fight back with hammer and
tong.
She may decide to run for Senate but I don't think so. Instead, she could do better by putting her face out there as the "I told you so"
spoksperson. Obama being such a failure he is on the economy and with his socialist agenda, it will be a slam dunk for the rise of a newer and more
aggressive conservative movement. She hinted today at it when she said she didn't care what party you are from. She will go straight down the center
to the white house.
There is only so much that the nation is going to take and since none of the democrats want to be re-elected it will be a conservative coalition that
rules the congress. If anyone thinks the congress will be in democrat control come 2010, think again.
There will come a day when Obama will be thrown out (2012) but until such time we have to put up with the kids in the house ransacking the treasure
for pleasure.

LOL.....ya intelligent enough to think Africa is a country.
Just watched some clips of her press conference. It was dripping in altruistic motives(typical politician) .....either see's getting ready for a
run at 2012 or something big is going to come out in the next few days.
Get ready to earn some points....this should be a long one..............

I would say she is more intelligent than your BOY Osama... At least she doesn't have a teleprompter crammed up her arse and pulls it out every time
she needs to speak.
Seems to me Obama is no better than a test monkey like they used to use at Nasa. I'll bet Michelle gives him a treat after each speech as well...

Are you a prophet?
You are entitled to your wrong opinion.
Once Palin announces her run for the Presidency in 2012, her support is going to be astounding! People are hungy for someone who cares about America
and wants to see America prosper. Her poll numbers will skyrocket because people realize that Obama is wrong and dangerous and also because Palin is
genuine, smart, honest and sexy.
All of this will happen even though the MSM will attempt to discourage people from supporting her. The MSM will do everything in their power to bring
her down BUT the people will see through their obvious bias and easily realize the MSM is being disingenuous.
