WTF is this shark?

Hmmm... no dorsal fin and 6 gills? doesn't sound like a shark to me... maybe an extremely prehistoric shark but nothing like modern ones. nice find

It's a frickin 12 foot 'six-gilled shark!' How do we know that? The videos is called 'MASSIVE six-gilled shark' and near the end of the video the guys say it's a metre wide and 12 feet long (metric and imperial? Are they working for the next NASA/ESA project?).

that's a pretty neat find! i'm terrified of water, but the girl i'm courting is just CRAZY about sharks! i've never seen one like it, i'll have to ask her.

what a funny name for a shark! i like to imagine its discoverers sitting around going,"well, Jeff, what should we call it?'' "hell if i know Frank! well, look, it's got six gills, so i say... it..it's the six....gill....shark!" "Jeff, you're a genius" "eff yeah dude!"
