Yeah I know.... I don't really think we should drop all these players, some are fantastic players.... but they need a kick up the arse.

Capello said he'd only pick players who were in form and he wouldn't take injured players..... YEAH RIGHT!!!!

Heskey is the least in form player in that squad and how he ever got an England recall I'll never know.

We have 4-5 great players and the others are just good.... granted no squad except perhaps Argentina and Spain have quality throughout but our squad is pathetic.... we have a really mediocre bunch of players who have had literally no time to play together and far too much pressure on them..... from both Capello and the fans.

I like Capello as a disciplinarian but some of his selection choices and his "I'll tell you 5 mins before the match if you're playing" crap has certainly not helped.

I had a really bad feeling before this world cup but looking at our group I felt somewhat comforted that we'd at least get out of the group stage.....

We definitely do need to get behind them and need them to feel supported but I also feel that they should be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed of how they've performed in this tournament and of the attitude and commitment they've shown on the pitch.


They couldn't even qualify for the Euro's in 08..... we've waited 4 years for some serious competitive, tournament action and this is what we get...

It's a fookin disgrace....

The eternal optimist in me in starting to come out again.
Just one half decent performance is all that's needed in the next game.

Then, who knows?

Capello should never have taken King and should have taken Adam Johnson instead of either SWP or Lennon.

Capello should be telling his team well in advance who is playing and what he expects of them.
If they don't know who is playing with who how the hell do they know what tactics they should be using etc?

What did make me laugh last night was when a mate text me saying he was sick of his neighbour blowing a 'vulva' and was going to go round and give her what for!:shk:
He's not the brightest spark!

I'm glad we won, but the Netherlands played like crap!! No street ballers until late in the second half. We are not going to win this thing with dudes who play by the book.

Crazy bad. I think it was by far the worst match I've seen in the last three years. On the other hand, we mostly impressed with impressive football and eventually always died in beauty. It seems we've changed roles with the Gerries. Besides, as soon as we have Robben and Elia on our flanks, we'll see a wholly different team.

In the end it's about the points and so far we've been one of two team only with 6 points out of two matches.

Yeah. Harry makes defenders nervous.
I think they should play the ball through the centre when they get near the Ghana box. Make Ghana defenders make decisions, like what we ended up with when Valerie took the man straight on, with pace and direction. You get Penalties right in front of the box.

It also might take the heat of Harry, give him some space.
