Me and my brother watched an episode of UFO hunters late Sunday night which was about planes disappearing into "wormholes" or pockets of energy over oceans. One pilot claimed he travelled 40 minutes into the future, arriving at his destination 40 minutes earlier than was possible.

I take a lot of the UFO hunters ideas with a pinch of salt but i was horrified to wake the next day and see this on the news.

Such a strange coincidence.

Perhaps phone messages and calls can be sent but the person on the other end cannot answer.. either due to out of range, incapaciated or well dead

Reports that debris from the missing Air France passenger jet has been sighted floating on the Atlantic Ocean by the crew of a French freighter.
The Douce France is reported to be in the same area off the coast of Senegal where a Brazil TAM airline pilot was also reported to have seen a burning piece of wreckage.

Are you kidding me?
Are you saying someone trying to leave messages for someone on that plane should be slapped?

first if a plane hit the sea, surly there would be no burning debri
second if the plane hit the sea surly there would be an oil type slick
third why would a plane fly into a thunder storm ??

No we are saying someone who keeps sending messages to a mobile phone and claiming that because the messages are sending means that the phone is not under water needs a slap.

It’s obvious!

I can send a message on my phone right now to anyone in the world, just because it sends from my phone doesn’t mean they have received it. If their phone is off they would receive it when it turns on.

Mobile phones have been around for a very long time, this shouldn’t be new to anyone.

If it is, then yes, they need a slap!

If a plane hit the sea from that height and at speed it would be the exact same as it hitting land. It would explode, the fuel would cause fire.

Yes, which is what was probably burning when the TAM pilots seen “it” if it was “it”

A number of reasons, sometimes they just have to, sometimes the storms comes to quick. Many planes around the world have flown into storms and crashed because of it, many have flown into storms and have been fine.

No, again.... I'm saying that someone who thinks just because a message sent from their phone means that their loved must be alive and all the facts must be wrong should be slapped. There is a difference.

And looking at the posts, it seems some people agree with me.

If you didn't "get it" or understand the euphemism used by myself or mikey84 perhaps you ought to be slapped as well.

I even put figuratively speaking in brackets, did you not notice that.

For there record and nimbys, "I do not condone slapping off or pushing of idiots down stairs", even if they do deserve it.
