There are stories daily at keepandbeararms.com that depict armed law-abiding citizens stopping crimes. One such story that happened recently is accounted here. What this article doesn't say is the robbers intended to rape and sodomize the female victims then kill everyone when their fun was over. They didn't expect armed resistance, but that's just what they got. I guess in your groovy, rose-colored little world, people would just sit back and take it, or are you so deluded to think that banning guns would disarm the criminals too... Name one place on this planet where that has actually happened. I'll spare you. It's never happened. And it never will. Ever.

Well

the future the RIGHT beckons will be a future where tyranny can not be quelled with bullets...

History shows you will only replace your temporary captors with a legally binding corporate one. You might see one day... For the same ideology allowed for the plundering of our money and the weight of our capital.

The fruits of this organism will be another GOP party where your liberty is stripped in a contract, with the pat of a back.

I think it is FOOLISH to forget the core beliefs that have brought us here, which so many of you faithfully do. The populist swing will lash the OTHER direction, the ideology will dictate "FREE MARKETS" "LET THE EARNERS EARN". as if the earners are not FAT and blotted enough for a second go.

I am accused of being sarcastic and fool, however when you step back you will see you are inviting the last guy back into the same bed, same motives, same game.

Why can't I extrapolate and imagine the obvious course of this excursion?

JUST guns.

This is also about gays, jesus, social systems and culture. While guns may be fun, provide eats and defend against the everyday break ins you all seem to endure, in my city they do not have the same effect...

But I digress, THIS IS A CULTURE WAR - I just think it is very funny and tragic that so many of you can not reevaluate RR pack of bull, A simple slogan to make the poor content in their own poverty- the south - the mid west takes as gospel truth

NO different a tactic the BRITISH IMPERIAL RULE -
have the people police with economic implements and persuasion.

This government is what it is because is have evolved that way, with reason ( not claiming the legitimacy of these reasons) Never the less with the guns comes Jesus, and unchristian science, MORE of that MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX Ike warned against, more shoulder room for the corporate crocks, multi nationals....

You trounce the FED and you will get WALMART for all and for all a good wal. I think some of you are diluted, rabid and others are so filled with emotional drivel that you cannot think big picture. So go to your politicians, pick and choose your version of the same poison... Elect men who preach the word based upon a flobee hair cut and a drawl.

Have fun

Do you think only Republicans believe in the Constitution? I ask that because you seem to think only right wing Republicans like the Second and Tenth Amendments (Right to Keep and Bear Arms, States' Rights).

If I'm to be labeled, I suppose the label would be closest to Libertarian, but I just call myself a Constitutionalist. I explain this because you said:
This is also about gays, jesus, social systems and culture.
I disagree. I don't care if someone is gay or straight, whether they are Christian or Atheist, nor the color of their skin. The world is too small and time on this planet is far too short to be petty about any of that. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is the goal. A firearm can be used to defend life and liberty. Happiness is subjective and personal, although I am happy there is a document specifically stating these "Unalienable Rights" and also another document to enumerate other Rights which should always be protected.

Also, I know plenty of hard-core Democrats who own firearms just in case it is necessary to defend their life, family and property. They are terrific people who understand that more than likely they will never have to use their weapon against an assailant, but should that horrible event come about they would atleast have a chance.

Any typos are due to the tears of laughter clouding my vision.

Since when has filing a report and attempting to locate a criminal after the rape/murder/theft/assault/break-in has already occurred qualified as "protection?"

Now I'm assuming you honestly believe what you wrote and my tears are graduating from laughter to pity.

I need more information.

Does anyone know how many homicides are committed with registered guns and how that number factors into the overall homicide rate?

Are there any numbers concerning family member on family member gun deaths? What part do these play in the overall homicide report?

Am I right in assuming that violence stopped by gun ownership is unquantifiable?

I understand that the majority of gun deaths in the country are due to suicides. Do any of the bills currently floating through the different states cited here address this? As in, will suicides jump if these laws are enacted?

Thanks.

You would be mistaken to believe that there are not people in this country who still hunt to help feed their families. One bullet to shoot a deer or turkey costs a lot less than buying a freezer full of meat at the supermarket.

Oh thats great. Fear Fear Fear. Americas bread and butter. How about:
Drunk and having lost his keys man breaks into wrong home by mistake and is shot. Although there were ten people in the house and could have taken them down easily they still shot him to see what it felt like to kill another human being.
Now what the article doesn't say is: That the men were going to pay the killers a huge sum of money for their mistake and turn their life over to Allah the next day.

[url]or are you so deluded to think that banning guns would disarm the criminals too...Name one place on this planet where that has actually happened. I'll spare you. It's never happened. And it never will. Ever.
Wrong: China, N. Korea, Loas, Myramar just to name a few. Many more countrys as well if they can keep American gun runners from entering their country illegally.
Whats wrong with non-lethal means of protection anyway? Sorry but the 2nd amendment is a fossil and should have been repealed long ago. Then we wouldn't have had all those mall and High School massacres... by folks who bought thier weapons legally I might add.

Yeah Yeah Yeah I saw that special on the Pennsyvania Mountain folks too. Buy hey thats were the traps, snares or bows & arrows come into play. How about a spear the cavemen used them and after a little practice they did just fine. And that bullet isn't going to be so cheap after it travels a half mile through the woods and kills one of those girl scouts out for a hike.

Assuming Girl Scouts are being hit by stray bullets fired in the woods (a mile straight line without hitting anything is pretty amazing in the woods BTW unless your woods have like 2 trees per acre) you're totally fine with Girl Scouts getting caught in snares and leg traps I guess.

Well thankfully the constitution is non negotiable so intolerable and arrogant people such as yourself have no right to trample the freedoms of myself and others.

Quite frankly if you like democracies or socialism then head over to China where you feel that gun control has done so much end human rights violations.

We live in a republic where even if supporters of the second amendment are a minority their unalienable rights still cannot be violated by fools who are ignorant of history such as yourself.

I saw on Glen Beck last night that Texas and Utah are doing the same thing.

Montana could be the start of a new trend.

Always remember - When guns are outlawed; only outlaws will have guns.

However, I think we're starting to miss the underlying point here. This isn't just about being able to own guns. It's also about the state exercising their right to tell the gov't to back off cuz they're getting to big. This was discussed toward the beginning of the post but people are getting hung up on the gun thing too much.

Hey Kenton. I am sorry you saw me bury my goods in the backyard. Just remember when there is no more social services, and the police wont come to take a report on those that just broke in and took everything you have. If you ask nicely I may just give you a meal. However if you or anyone else is caught trying to dig it up you will probably be the first to go. Don't take food away from my kids and I won't shoot your misguided @$$.

I was just going to write that I thought he was spying on me!

If the S does HTF, you won't have to worry about kenton, since he and his family will likely be among the first to go. They'll be lucky if it happens quick from his fellow neighbors offing him to get what he has but can't defend. Otherwise, it will be a long, painful starvation death for them when nobody comes to restock his supermarket anymore.

I think this is an example of the kind of gun-o-phobe we are dealing with here:

I'll be the first to go...to work at one of our brand new FEMA facilitys. I'll be in guard tower 3 at camp crushticles in region 9. I can't wait for phase 4 to get started. Praise Moloch. And the only way were going to be able to cure this type of 'gun owership' thinking is a quick shower in the sterilzation building. Expect No Mercy.

Sounds like kenton has been exposed as a wannabe nazi.

No wonder he's against gun ownership. It would make his "future job" so much more difficult if he has to deal with an armed population rather than sheeple.

Mods, this is trolling at its worst.
