This is my way of thinking also but , if SHTF for real , people who are not used to having any electricity or a home in which to use it , and are hungry to boot, will not necessarily be in the right state of mind.

IMHO the sky is offically falling but never give up the good fight,eh?

I was at a KRS-ONE concert tonight, at Apache Cafe.

Anyone who knows of his music understands that he has a knack for not only the mystical side of things, but the conspiracy side of things as well.

Out back I overheard him speaking with some other fans as we "escorted" him to his car. He was talking about how now more than ever it is important for revolutionaries to work together, because the forces at play will try to make them opposed to each other.

Very interesting words in light of this thread...

Listen, the next revolution is gonna be a revolution of ideas. - Bill Hicks

There is honestly no reason to fight each other. The best things in human society have come out of working together.

Think of it this way: what do we all need? Food, Shelter, Comfortability, and a Mate. The last one may be the only reason for a fight ;-) But seriously, We have access to secure all of the others for everyone on the planet.

Food, Shelter, Comfortability have been secured since early 1900's (research Nikolai Tesla) and also research who shut him down ;-) hint: JP Morgan.

But those methods are hidden and we're stuck with oil, coal and gas (non-renewables), hybrid (non-nutritient foods), grown by fertilizers based on petroleum, toxins in everything, biologically invasive electronics (i.e. cell phones, electrical wiring, radio/microwaves; running on a 60hz counter clockwise rotation), Fluoride in water, Aluminum spread in skies and boiled in cooking utensils...etc.

And now, people losing all they have worked for in the $ market.

Anyway, the point is: the next few years will be incredibly tough, especially for people who don't understand what's happening around them; especially for people who avoid being open minded. It may be complete chaos. But, in that chaos is also an opportunity. An opportunity for a restructuring of a global society.

I do not mean a New World Order under a one world government. I simply mean humans working together meeting each others needs and retaining an actual sense of real society. A literal sense of "back to basics".

Economical Tangent: There is no such thing as "Sustainable Growth" which is what is taught in American Economics. Even relating to biological entities and any structure ever built. Any entity that continues the grow will exceed it's capability to sustain itself and will collapse. $410 Billion Gov't Spending Spree anyone ;-)

Dont know which country you live in or what influences you have been subjected to but revolution without the loss of life has never and will never succeed. Its just how the cookie crumbles .

It can actually. Happened in my country in 1986.

Also happened in Thailand two years ago:

Thai Military Launches Coup, Takes Power From Prime Minister Thaksin, Tuesday, September 19, 2006

The sudden, well-orchestrated coup — a throwback to an unsettled era in Thailand — was likely to spark both enthusiasm and criticism at home and abroad. The military said it would soon return power to a democratic government but did not say when.

Initially, the coup went largely unnoticed in Thailand's popular tourist districts, where foreigners packed bars and cabarets oblivious to the activity about two miles away. But word raced among street vendors hawking T-shirts who packed up their carts quickly and started heading home.

Later, several hundred soldiers were deployed at government installations and major intersections in Bangkok.

The bloodless coup was the first overt military intervention in the Thai political scene since 1991, when an attempt by Prime Minister Suchinda Kraprayoon, a military general, to retain power was countered by street demonstrations and Suchinda's ouster the following year.

It was the most civil use of military force I'd ever seen in my lifetime.

Chairman Mao would disagree with that

This is a more likely outcome -- people working together to rebuild the society from the ground up, if need be.

The government knows this very well and engineers economic failure in order to keep things under control. Economists are saying that a depression is overdue, because of the 75 year cycle.

The whole global warming thing also plays a part. Global warming is associated with growth, so by forcing the mean temperature of the Earth to cool, you can engineer economic failure

One must never forget the nuggets of wisdom passed down to us throughout history.

For example, to paraphrase M.K. Ghandi; It is impossible for a small minority of people to rule over a vast majority, if the vast majority will simply not allow it.

THAT is why we are constantly conditioned to segregate ourselves into smaller 'types' of people. Because as a single body, humanity cannot be controlled by force. We CAN be destroyed, but NOT controlled.

Hello, I should probably take this to David Icke's website. He makes many references to key Democrat officials as Zionists. Hillary (the smartest woman in the world) has been anti-Israel, and pro Hamas, having visited and groveled to Arafat's wife, and now demanding vast sums of aid to Palestine causes. President Barry Soetoro (aka B. Obama) is a Muslim. (Soetoro accidently admited being Muslim during an ABC inteview, but the reporter quickly "corrected" him). Why would there be Zionists as handlers to a Muslim president?

I read and respect Mr. Icke's writings, however, such a close relationship between a Muslim president, a pro-Muslim Hillary, and Zionists handlers, begs some explanation.

Thanks.
