To begin, I would like to say that i did a brief search on ATS and did not see this video. If i missed it, and it has already been posted, then i am glad that there will be 2 threads in which to see this excellent video.

Ron Paul blames the federal reserve for our situation, and explains in detail the problems associated with the fed. Bernanke responds with what I can only describe as his admitting that PRIVATE companies will have control of the money.

ok, HERE

It's the whole system of the Fed that's to blame.

When did the government ever get the idea that printing more money can solve all our problems? They must have failed economics 101 when they were told that printing money would cause inflation.

I find it very sad that in the "richest" capitalist nation on the planet, these elite capitalists dont have a F-ing clue about capitalism or the economy.

Of course they know how the economy works, it's just that they use the system to benefit their own interests rather than the American people's interests.

yes, i'd just like to apologize for not being able to embed the video. I tried three times, and failed each time, so in the interest of not leaving the jumble of text up there, i just posted the link.

I understand that cspanjunkie.org is trying to be shut down by cspan, for what reason i can't imagine, because i think that cspanjunkie gives cspan more publicity than it's ever given itself.

I hope that many people see this video, and others, and understand how hard ron paul is trying to right our country, and is being ignored by his peers and a large part of the american culture that just doesn't want to hear the truth.

Take the url of the youtube video.

www.youtube.com...://votersthink.org/?p=1143

In a url, there are variables passed. They are in pairs. name=value. Anything after the ? is the input data. In the case of a YouTube url, the name you want is v. The "&" sign means another variable pair follows it. eurl=blah. eurl is the name, blah is the value. You don't need this stuff, it just tells youtube who to credit for incoming links. You always just want the "v=data" pair.

So, v=Xeb2VnI7S4U for example. In this case, when the YouTube video prompt comes up, you just enter in "Xeb2VnI7S4U"

So enter in the code Xeb2VnI7S4U and it will embed.

Starred and Flagged. My hope is that one day the majority will understand what Ron Paul is actually saying.

You have to remember that creating inflation is good for the government, and also anyone else who has debt due to loans right now.

quoted from Ben's wiki page:

In a footnote to his speech, Bernanke noted that "people know that inflation erodes the real value of the government's debt and, therefore, that it is in the interest of the government to create some inflation.

I wonder how long before they shut him down.

Near the begining Bernanke had an 'our crap' look on his face. That was totally priceless. Then he sort of regrounded himself and proceeded to lie his way out of the whole situation. I really wish there was some way to hold people accountable when they flat out lie and steal.

Read your signature, what makes you think that the Powers That Be Don't know. Do you believe they actually like us, or, would you more readily believe they despise being nice to us. Does it make more sense that they want to crash the Capitalist Middle class and return to rulers and the ruled System of Oligarchy, hidden as National Socialism then, revealed as the Communism it is. After all Communism is a more favorable position for the fed than Capitalism. Which do you think the wealthiest 13 families of the world prefer, public wealth or private wealth? Middle class industrial capitalists were an affront to the aristocracy. The rise of Rich Fugger, sounds like Rich Fu$%ker doesn't it, was proof of the new middle class industrial capitalist christian and their rivaling the wealth and power of church and state. America was founded secretly on the idea of undermining the middle class, by getting the democracy to realize it can vote itself shares of it's own treasury, thus, destroying itself. I applaud you and your ancestors and me and mine for helping such undermining along. I guess we forgot that the structure requires labourers and rulers to function. How naive people are to buy the propoganda of the Republic. Democracy, rule by the mob would be better. The representatives do exactly what they accuse the masses left to their own vices of doing. Now, centuries later, they are wealthy and raiding the treasury of a sinking ship and we are broke and drowning. How great is the Republic now?
