Calm down ziggy - there's no need for personal insults. No one is accusing you of "putting out false information out there". This is ATS, and every
word you post gets analyzed weather you like it or not. That is why we are here after all, to analyze things and get down to the bottom of things,
isn't it? Don't take things so personally.
I'm trying to encourage you to think for yourself, and to at least do a little basic research about something before posting about it, instead of
getting others to do all the footwork for you, and then complaining when the answers don't match what you were expecting.
Yes we are talking about things "falling out of the sky", but Venus (or perhaps even a star I suspect, 'Sirius') is an object millions of miles
away from us. How is there any connection between it and the recent fireball that we are discussing in this thread, apart from they are/were both
objects seen in the sky?
We all know that atmospheric turbulence causes scintillation, but what does that have to do with frequency of fireballs?
I'm just curious as to why you think these things might be connected. Please explain your logic. Thanks.
PS. you can find out which star/planet it was if you go and download
Stellarium which is free (but great)
software that shows you where everything is in the sky.
