I'm curious. Are you aware that in the United States the States operate independently? California could go belly up and not have any impact on most other States.
For instance we had 3.5% growth up here last year and a stable housing market with normal unemployment numbers for this season. We have no income tax and yet we are rock solid. Perhaps people should rethink their leadership, eh?
Interesting that so many of the residents of States that are failing laughed at our leadership.
California should just stop payments to the Illegals and take care of its citizens, which is as it should be. Mexico should take care of its own for a change. We can't afford them anymore.
That's the problem, their focus is not spending less, but taking more from taxpayers that don't have it. When someone takes whatever amount of money they want from your paycheck, that's called THEFT. When someone takes money from you for breaking arbitrary road rules, that's called Highway ROBBERY.

Make way for Mr. Important and his kid who needs stitches. Gunshot wound? Serious infection? Broken leg? They are Mexican who don't deserve anything and should be on their knees begging you for the air they breathe, the crap they ingest from fat-ass America and the opportunity to feed their family.
Not your problem, right? Well your kid ain't my problem either, so back of the line with you bigot.
Welfare Myths
5. Anyone who wants to get off welfare can just get a job.
Many welfare recipients do work to supplement meager benefits (Harper's, 4/94). But workforce discrimination and the lack of affordable childcare make working outside the home difficult for single mothers. And the low-wage, no-benefit jobs available to most AFDC recipients simply do not pay enough to lift a family out of poverty.
Although it is almost never mentioned in conjunction with the welfare debate, the U.S. Federal Reserve has an official policy of raising interest rates whenever unemployment falls below a certain point--now about 6.2 percent (Extra!, 9-10/94). In other words, if all the unemployed women on welfare were to find jobs, currently employed people would have to be thrown out of work to keep the economy from "overheating."
Myth: A Huge Chunk of My Tax Dollars Supports Welfare Recipients
Fact: Welfare Costs 1 Percent of the Federal Budget
Widespread misperception about the extent of welfare exacerbate the problems of poverty. The actual cost of welfare programs-about 1 percent of the federal budget and 2 percent of state budgets (McLaughlin, 1997)-is proportionally less than generally believed...

It's always the stupid people who take things at face value and start dehumanizing because all they can ever think about are themselves. You hate Mexican's more than you hate the bankers who stole more of your tax dollars in 1 month than 10x the number of illegals in your country could take in a lifetime? Are you up in arms? Are you pissed at them? No. You decide to single out the most visual, vulnerable and affected group by attacking and treating them as subhuman when all they want is to live. Then you have the nerve to blame them and further subjugate them when they are forced into poverty and ultimately crime, gangs and drugs. Nobody chooses that life bucko. It's forced upon them because no one gives a flying $%# about them so why should they care about YOU?
This is the height of civilization right freakin' here. It ain't getting any better than this. We have all the technology in the world and still haven't progressed our thinking for a thousand years as much as we like to think we have. You are living proof buddy.
