Allow me to ask the people out there who don't think Obama has enough experience a question.

What would you rather have during a shoot-out with the enemy that can take a few bullets and keep advancing? A six-shooter revolver that has been trustworthy over the years or a new modern designed semi-automatic .50 caliber that has never been in a gunfight, but in tests it works perfectly?

Ladies and gentlemen, we are in the proverbial war, and McCain is an old rusty, albeit experienced, six-shooter. However, common sense tells us to put our hope in the .50 caliber.

I do not believe that Mr. Obama would ever "fight" for me. I believe he would rather sit down and have some tea and cookies and talk about it. I see him more likely saying to the "enemy", "Yes, your right...I agree. blah blah blah blah blah."

There is NO WAY I would ever want Obama in a place where my defense relies on HIM. NO WAY.

I don't know if I understand the premise of this thread ... but here goes ...

THIS is why I could never, never vote for Obama.

Obama = Disarming of America, destruction of future combat systems, and total failure to provide for America's security now and in the future.

There are way too many reasons! I will list a few...

1.) He's Socialist/Marxist
2.) He's elitist scum
3.) He's owned by the Soros/Brzezinski clan
4.) He's a liar who has changed his position on everything.
5.) He's not proven to be a citizen with legal standing to even run for office.
6.) His affiliation with and affinity for known terrorist or people who hate America; Ayers, Wright, Rashid Khaliti, Frank marshall Davis... etc...
7.) Socialism has NEVER worked.

I could go on and on and on but I believe ATS has a post length max.

He still hasn’t denounced him but says Mr. Ayers is now a member of the Chicago Democratic mainstream. He still maintains a friendly relationship with him, has served on a board with him, and has participated in speaking panels with him.

Yet Sarah Palin seems to think that other types of bombing, maiming and killing in the United States are A-ok.

Seems to me the definition of terrorist here is subjective, dependent on who's doing the talking and who's being talked about.

CS, Please don't confuse me for a kool-aide drinker, Palin should be BBQ'd for her response to that question. Killing people is killing people, whether in the defense of unborn children or not, it's wrong. And abortion bombers come from the extreme right in the same fashion O's buddies come from the extreme left. As it appears, the extreme viewpoints are where the trouble makers live. No defense for Palin from this guy, nice fishin' though!

Exactly! I am no real supporter, really just a life-long devil's advocate. But if I understand correctly, the people are so pissed off over the last 8 years of screw-ups, then take that McCain voted 90% of the time with Bush, the answers simple.

They are willing to hope these days, than listen to the "Experience" card. What hasthe "Experience" gotten the American people thus far?

I suppose I could give a long explanation but I think many members here would understand me in saying "The CFR"

Obamas own words broadcast on CNN, March 31, 2008:
Responding to a question from the audience, asking whether he was More..a member for the Council on Foreign Relations, a group many allege is leading a move toward one world government, Obama said:

"I don't know if I'm an official member. I've spoken there before. It basically is a forum where people talk about foreign policy. There is no official membership. I don't have a card, or you know a special handshake or anything like that."

It is my understanding that his name is on the membership list on the website.

It sounds to me like you are an Obama supporter.

My point was that Obama has no real proof that he would work as President. In theory it sounds like he might, but there is no evidence to prove that he could do that job.

Perhaps a different analogy would have worked better.

Did you know that Ted Kennedy and most of the dems in congress voted with Bush 60% of the time? So why is it a surprise a republican would vote with him 90% of the time?

I`m not a U.S. citizen but if I was I would not vote for Obama for a simple reason, I think his foreign policy would be a disaster not only to the U.S. but to our own hemisphere.

If it wasn`t enough that just about every terrorist anti-american organization in the world wants him as president. His own words have condemed him.

He said he wanted to talk to Chavez, and I assume that he would also have no problems talking to Correa and Morales, maybe he would also have a nice chat with war criminal Ortega from Nicaragua.

People in the U.S. have the wrong impression that latin america has now somehow turned to the left. This was true a couple of years ago, but it is not true now, and will certainly will not be true in the future.

Chavez will most likely loose in the regional elections in Venezuela, the socialist movement in Chile will almost certainly loose the next elections, although Correa and Morales had their tailored constitutions passed they have Ecuador and Bolivia in a state bordering with civil war.

Cristina Kirchner is seeking pensions takeover in Argentina, she is facing protests everyday.

Finally, the only true ally that the U.S. has is Colombia, and Obama will stab in the back this country by opposing the FTA.

No problem my friend, I guess I'm so accustomed to being a target here, I've developed a natural fight not flight reaction.

One more negative for Obama is the media's disgusting and ridiculous bias and worship of the man. A vote against Obama is a vote against the media.

Lest we not forget this gem

(If the link doesn't work, goto YouTube and search Obama 57 states)

How can he even mess-up like that??? As an American when I hear the word "states" I IMMEDIATELY think 50, and I'm not running for President.

Guess what, people....there are 57 Islamic States...en.wikipedia.org... f_Organisation_of_the_Islamic_Conference_member_states_by_exports

Things just don't make sense.....

I often wonder how other countries view our election and the candidates. Do you feel that you are surrounded by (media, ads, etc....) propaganda that pushes your society to feel one way or the other?

He reminds me of kennedy. Good president, handled the Russians pretty well, but to bad he opposed the ptb on monetary policy and other NWO-esque things and got himself shot. Not saying Obama will do the same but I hope so, and hope for a better future is what he's supposed to be about. Of course he could be exploiting this human trait, which I hope is not the case.

i've never really liked obama for most of the reasons that have already been mentioned here, there and everywhere, but to be honest i'd never done any research his background before...and you bring up something that i've been thinking. i question the motive behind the media sensationalizing his ties to supposed 'terrorists'/ 'anti jew'/palestine/islam etc...especially when you understand the zionist agenda. you never know, he could just be playing along (i've heard him mention the war on terror and 'finding osama' in his speeches) to get the presidency and THEN speak out against the zionism etc...but of course, then he definitely would get assassinated like jfk...
