I think his birth certificate is legitimate, but fake birth cerfiticates are extremly common. And by fake I don't mean made up by photshoping etc. A real document just falsified information.

In Jersey City NJ, there was so much corruption in the government EVERY SINGLE person born in Jersey City before 1975 or 1965(i cant remember the date ) birth certificate is INVALID. This doesn'( affect one or two people its hundred of thousands.

So all I'm saying is getting a REAL false birth certificate happens more then you think.

Did anyone see where the IsraelENews quoted the Herald article as saying; "the senator's grandmother, brother and sister, who live in Kenya, believe they were present during Obama's birth in the African country."

They left out an identifier at the beginning of the quote: Berg's suit claims the senator's grandmother, brother and sister, who live in Kenya, believe they were present during Obama's birth in the African country.

That makes a HUGE difference in this story as this seems to just be a restatement of Berg's case. Tabloid journalism and purposefully misleading.

First of all, I'd appreciate it if you had some respect for the constitution and any attempts made to enforce legal restraint on the cancer that is the American Federal Government.

Secondly, these allegations aren't new and whether or not they have any merit is tough to call. I'm very much curious as to how this potentiality relates to theories and allegations about Obama being essentially recruited in his college years to a life of power. Claims of being recruited by Breziznki, his mother's socialist affiliates, illuminati, or whoever thus explaining the gap between Occidental and Harvard.

My question is for those of you who believe he was "chosen" at some point and that this president scenario is destiny manifest--wouldn't they have taken his intercultural youth into account as problematic?
Or did they take into account most Americans wouldn't even care by 2008?
Plus the MSM sure doesn't twist arms.

The law denying the office of president to non natural-born citizens is arbitrary. We could change it or ignore it if it doesn't mesh with our values. Personally, I don't see it as serving any purpose except to be exclusionary.

HAHAHAHA! Wait, the government can literally search your home without a warrent or telling you. They can arrest you and send you to prison FOREVER without telling you why, giving you a lawyer, or tell anyone you were arrested. They illegally falsify information, change it, so they can "prove" that Iraq had yellowcake. They then commit a felony exposing a CIA agent who's husband exposed the lie and corruption behind the yellowcake report. And you know what? McCain was born in PANAMA! He wasn't born in America. So, you are supporting a man who is a Panamanian citizen, not American.

Barry has yet to give full disclosure of anything. I was under the assumption that anyone running for the presidency, especially this late in the race, must provide documentation as to state of health, citizenship, income etc. basically whatever the people ask for.

Unbelievably, there is still uncertainty regarding his college background. I am amazed that no former roommates or college buddies have come forward to speak either for or against him. If he was indeed on the Harvard Law Review, I would think that he would have made an impression on at least one person. We still don't know how he financed his Ivy League education and a trip around the world.

When looking at the image of his alleged birth certificate, I did not see the name of the hospital where he was born/created printed anywhere nor did I see the embossed stamp that is common on practically every birth certificate.

Without even delving into his personal connections/relationships, Barry has way to many fundamental variables for a presidential candidate. The man is clearly hiding something when in fact he should be bragging about his past.

on my blog, I posted about Attorney Phil Berg's court action regarding Obama's questionable birth cert:

The complaint is asking for declaratory relief (asking the court to declare Obama is not a US citizen, a “natural born” citizen and not eligible under the qualifications of the US Constitution to run for Office of President).

Also asking for injunctive relief and an emergency TRO. Further asking for EXPEDITED Discovery.

We are asking that Obama provide a “ceritified copy” of the oath he took to regain his citizenship. We are asking for court orders, ordering the state department, HI department of records and other governmental agencies to turn over any and everything on Obama, all certified.

To date, Plaintiffs and two of (2) the locations, which subpoenas were served upon, refused to honor the subpoenas.

In this filing, Berg argued that he has legal standing to bring suit against Obama—and the DNC—pursuant to 5 USC §702; 524 US 11 (1998); 8 USC §148(b); 5 USC §552(B); 28 USC §1343 and also standing pursuant to Federal Question Jurisdiction. Well airlines DO bar very pregnant women from flights. Are there any records as to WHEN his mother flew back to the states? Was it right before the birth? They would have had to pass through U.S. Customs, I would think there would be SOME record of when they returned.

The original source is deliberately lying when it makes the claims regarding supposed statements made by Obama's family "cited" by the Times Herald.

There is a big difference between distorting the truth and outright lying. This tale falls into the latter category. I would suggest doing a little source checking before posting "Breaking Political News."

I don't like Obama either, but it doesn't matter where he was born. His mother was an American citizen, doesn't that make him an American citizen, technically? There are many other reasons to dislike the man, but I don't believe it will matter where is actual birth took place.

I'll tell you what would be a conspiracy worth investigating...If the man we know as Barack Obama was really born in Nigeria to Nigerian parents and then switched with the Real Barack Obama who was born in Hawaii to Ann Dunham. Like that movie starring Angelina Jolie, Changeling.

Yours are feather weight conspiracies, trying to compete in the big leagues and spiritual darkness.

That's where you're wrong. It does matter if he was born in Kenya or Hawaii. There are other threads that go into the details behind this, search on my username and you can see the full details. Basically, if he was born in Kenya then according to the laws on the books in 1961, he was never an American citizen and thus not natural born. If he was born in Hawaii, the entire discussion is over.

Obama supporters seem to have no issue with this even if it is true. Apparently to them, Obama is above the Constitution. Therefore, Obama is above the Founding Fathers.

Thats amazing to me.

What else is amazing to me is, think back at how many Americans complained that Chinese gymnasts were too young to participate in the Olympics. When their birth certificates showed they were, Americans complained that the Chinese government forged the documents.

So, with that in mind, how is the United States government above or any better than the Chinese government that you can definitively say the United States government would not do this?

Second, why is it believable that the Chinese government would forge documents for a meaningless competition, yet the United States government wouldn't forge documents to elect their guy?

Doesn't make much difference in any case -- kids born to an American citizen abroad are American citizens (in some cases they can hold dual citizenships). If this wasn't true, there would be a whopping lot of Americans (missionaries' children, tourists children, military brats, government contractors' children, ex-pats' children, diplomatic corps members children, etc, etc) who are suddenly illegal immigrants in America. If you're going to disqualify Obama on that false accusation, then you will have to also stand up and tell everyone who fits into the above categories that they are illegal aliens in America and need to be deported.

I believe I'd like to be around when the "Obama is not an American citizen" fans make that case to the public.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Even IF Obama was born in Kenya, since his mom was a US citizen, he's a US citizen. Documentation of US Citizens Born Abroad.

John McCain was born at the naval hospital in Panama. So what?

If there were a sniff of truth about either one of them being ineligible, their primary opponents would have been all over it. The Clintons? Are you kidding me? Obama's campaign would've been strangled in the crib if Hillary had any inkling that might be true.

This is a non-issue. One of these guys is going to be president. And I'm a whole lot more concerned about what their intentions as president are than where they may have been born.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.
