If she's not in it for the profit, why does she keep writing and selling books?

If she wasnt in it to make money why even let them know who you are for a start and why even bother with books?

True psychics (about 1% of those that actually say they are psychic) act mostly anonymous

a) She does it for the cash

b) She's freakin nuts!

I think its either a) and b) or only b)

We'll see if her October 14th prediction is right about the giant UFO. But don't assume that she in it for the money. Even though everybody dreams of being rich during a crisis such as this. You could even write a book and sell it if you want, but she is the one that wrote it in the first place. Not to forget to mention, who are the ones that bought her book? Us, of course! But some of her predictions that are wrong some are right so how useful of a tool is it really? But you have to relize that there's a flaw in every innovative product to keep businesses running and going. It keeps the economy going the way it is. But some are just way too greedy to think of anyone else but themseleves but you never know. Maybe Blossom Goodchild gave some of her earned money to charity or w/e.

Sometimes its not even about the money, its about noteriaty and getting your name in the mainstream media, The fact that a lot of people were , shall I say concerned, or even talking about a day BG said can make all the attention one needs . If I were to write a book on UFO's , aliens, demos or Dragons , all I'd have to do to get people to take notice is to say " I have a message from 'Zarognaogn" , think up a couple of crazy names , thrown in a date or two, think of all the bases I'd need to cover, Like a Ufo arriving Oct 14th and Alabama (for example) people (some gullable) will flock to my website and believe everything I say, buy my book and I've made some money.
For all the people that probably visited her website ( I'm not one) there must be a least a few that would've bought her books. IF its a good enough read they'll tell others and they'll buy a copy. You don't have to sell a few at say $100 , you won't make anything as people are tight with their purse strings, but if you sold it in E-format for (say ) $5 then $5 isn't a lot to waste , you'll make more that way than trying to shift a book for $100.

As for BG I've heard she's 'disappeared' (probably with all the loot she's made) and probably gone back to her real name if she had one. If I was thinking about it I'd use a fake name, most writers do. who'd remember her face if they saw her in the street?
Besides even if she is recoqnised she can use the "I never heard of her , who is she?" line, I'm told I'm a dead ringer for Bubba ray Dudley off of WWE wrestling but it doesn't mean I can wrestle , all she has to say is "it's not me " and people will go "ok" and walk off again, and who's going to chase her for $5?
She's probably made a bit of cash enough to live on or at least have a laugh with and then disappear leaving all the rest of the people who had they're hopes dashed and the UFO fraternity reeling at another hoax and the world again laughing at the real UFO believers.

SO all I can say is "thanks Blossom, you've done us all a great favour by knocking back UFO believing culture back about 15 years to the point of we're ALL nutjobs again, but Hey you got what you wanted, a bit of cash, I hope it doesn't choke you"

Perhaps I'm missing the point... Are we meant to care? I mean, she kinda brought it on herself. Surely she understands the concepts of actions & consequences? She is an adult after all!

I would imagine that the people who are feeling the 'roughest' right now are the ones that put faith in her... not to mention those that invested in her books or CD's. I'm sure that in these trying economic times, they wouldn't mind swapping them back for real cash.

If BG was half genuine, she would have issued a statement by now. Even if she believed everything she was telling people, she should have had one prepared just in case she was wrong IMHO. That's what responsible people of good conscience do.
