If I might be so bold as to propose a theory. When an organization engages in a targeted and coordinated effort on a website such as this, they do so at their own peril.

This is not an 'activist' nor 'dissent' oriented website, and we are more focused on the contributions of the sincere than those who have something (or someone) to sell. The resources and efforts they wasted here would have better better used to increase the body of knowledge of the candidate.

They have mistaken us for some kind of social/media website. Big mistake.

I'm glad you took the time out of your day to do this!

I made a multi-part post over here that, when read through in entirety, indicates the type of people who actually desire power & wealth for its own sake...And it seems to me that the kind of people you describe here, who participate in such venomous attacks, would fall into a "sub-category" of what I described there as "midbrain people." These are people who use their forebrain (higher thought, reason, compassion & altruism) only to give some kind of coherent "justification" to act upon their midbrain impulses (primal id, animal instinct): This is, I believe, the origin of "Social Dawanism" & the concept behind "Rule by the Elite."

Yet your attitude towards such people indicates to me that you would squarely fall into the category of "forebrain people."


I don't see where this is a discussion about political parties, except to point out that both parties are guilty of doing the same thing...Quadrennial Exploitation through the use of mudslinging in any political campaign. Or haven't you noticed how political campaigning always seems to degenerate into mutual "warfare," attacking each other's personality traits, disguising the real issues through "sound-bite retorts" & never addressing the most important issues. Haven't you taken notice of how much that both McCain & Obama have been "flip-flopping" on the issues in their campaigns?

Both major parties seek the same ultimate goal once they get in Office...Totalitarian control of the American People. The two major parties just argue over which way would be the best "path" to take to achieve that goal. Once a person recognizes this little key truth, the whole game of "political diatribe" becomes obvious.

IMO, this is what SD is really talking about in this thread, the "game of political diatribe."


The first sentence is very true: Just selecting the names of our Founding Forefathers through Brainy Quote & looking over the lineage of documents that created the USA (Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation & the US Constitution) proves your point.

However, even as much as Ron Paul supports Constitutional Order of Law, I've learned that even his armor has chinks, as I point out in this post. I realize that no one is "perfect" & it's possible that Dr. Paul's legislative staff may have had something to do about letting this "armor chink" show up: The supporting links in my other post indicates that this may be the problem.

I'll probably vote "No Confidence," until I can find out if it was Ron Paul himself or if it's a fault of his staff before I treat this as a "final" decision, though. I at least want to find the truth of the matter before I act...Which is something that the people SD talks about do not do.

I really appreciate the even-handed way in which you've presented this information; regardless of one's political persuasion, we should not want this sort of furtive 'seeding' a free hand on this site.

If someone wants to vote for a canidate on the basis of skin color alone, let them...
When ATS lets blacks do that, and then closes the threads of whites who do the same thing, that just isnt right...

You just need to be able to filter out the garbage...

Doesnt take long to figure out...

WHen someone comes out with a title like, "McCain is a Raceist" or "Obama is a muslim" ITS CLEAR that they are only trying to generate a big response, thus, more points for them...

Also, most moronic posts come from members who are ussaly just signed up that day... or very recently...

Just use your common sense, which YOU clearly still have, to filter out the garbage...

I'm not really a morning Dog, so 10am is a little early for me to listen to veiled racism on the radio. Hopefully they'll have a saved copy.

I jut logged in ten minutes ago for the first time today and the "recent posts" page looks devoid of attack threads. Probably a coincidence but still nice to see. Maybe they are regrouping. It's almost too quiet out there.

I also like your state of mind and can relate to it in so many ways.

I think the whole Hillary vs Obama circus was intentional propaganda to drown out the Ron Paul campaign.

I haven't seen so much attention going to just one party during a run up to an election. We heard nearly nothing about the republican race. Curious indeed.

Excellent post SD. Posts like this remind me of why I originally joined ATS... the search for the truth. I'm currently still borderline on who I'm gonna vote for, but those attack adds make me want to throw up. Neither side should be taking part in them, as far as I'm concerned it makes the person preaching them and the side they're preaching for lose credibility.
