alright..well let me just informed you guys that i live in the carson california in the united states

okay it was approximately 4:02am(50min ago) when i witness the weirdest thing i have ever seen in my life..


i get back from a party, take a shower and go to bed,like any other ordinary night.. when i was falling asleep i happen to notice a noise from the out side..

suspecting it was something that require my attention i look up to see what it was..
it was nothing..just a car who pulled up next door to my house stalling his car for a few moments...

as the car leaves i couldn't help but to look outside again, as i couldnt concentrate on going back to sleep.... i look around from my window for a while, just looking at nothing, when it happen...

OUT OF NO WHERE!!THE WHOLE #EN SKY TURN A BRIGHT GREEN/BLUE COLOR that FILLED THE WHOLE #EN SKY!!! i dont know how to describe it, only as if some one was taking a picture, but of the whole world!! it was that big...it was so bright that it lighted the whole area of the sight of my neighborhood with light. it only happen for about...
give a take 1 sec. when it flash, but it so happened that another flash of light happen just after the that one ended

I was #en confused on what happen..never have i seen..such a sight in life..so with all my anxiety i run out side to see what it "REALLY" was...

and when i got out side.. i notice i was look at nothing... the sky was still dark and the blue light didnt appear again..i did some how manage to see some slight discoloration of the sky..as it appear to be a slight visions of blue waves....but i dont know..

no one was around or awake to see what had happen,and that is why i looked up into the web to check if anything like this has ever happen before.

i hit up google,when i saw that other people said they have seen something smiler in another part of the country.. but the thing is that i cant see the blog of the poster that posted it as the website keeps redirecting me to another...and this is where i begin to question...is someone trying to hide this information from the public?

My partner saw this very same thing, she was in a room facing north, i was in the back of the house, but i didnt see anything , there are no curtains up at the window of the room i was in, but there are in the room she was in. So i would have a question to ask people in general here. Did anyone notice any kind of strange behaviour either just before, just after, or the next day? I have a theory but want to see if this produces any significant first. thanks for helping me out here.

I am from a small little town in South Africa called Lenasia. We have been experience strange weather for summer here, I mean temperatures down to 8 and 10 degrees celsius and a lot of rain, when the temperature should be in the mid 25-30's. Tonight the sky was clearing up with full visibility of the stars at last. At about 23H00 (11pm) my wife and kids where on our way to my inlaws place when suddenly the sky lit up in blue for about a second. As this happened I instinctively looked up and waited for a bang. Nothing happend. My wife and I were totally confused and schocked at what we just witnessed. I have spent the entire night trying to google any bit of info on what we experienced. No explanation short of meteors and debris crashing into our atmosphere and burning up kept on coming through as a reasonable explanation. I'm a bit worried trying to piece all this info to make sense, but I guess we'll never really know what the hell is going on. It's just so fascinating and yet frightening because in all my life I have never experienced anything of this magnitude. I noticed that this post began round about 2004 and It is now 2009/11 and it hasn't stopped. The best part of this expereince is that it was witnessed by my wife and me, including 3 other couple that I spoke to that same night. We were all in Lenasia and where at least in the radius of 10KM. I have not spoken to anyone else yet. Damn it I wish I knew what is going on ...

eta catrina as a blue light perchance?

I am very excited to see that others have seen this blue light. I saw it tonight in Antioch, IL (USA) at my girlfriends house..

I was in the middle of reading Joel Rosenberg's novel, "Epicenter" and all of a sudden the power went out... the power came back on... the power went out... I decided to look out the window. I knew it was snowing I thought maybe it got much worse and this was effecting the power... to my surprise the snow had stopped. When I looked into the sky I saw a blue light flash of light followed by an exit of white.. then it disappear. The first thing that came to mind was the hopi prophecy of a blue star falling from the sky and turning 1/3 of the sea to black. Then there would be chaos. Then peace.

I quickly tried to dismiss this and thought it was freaking myself out...so I went downstairs and asked my girlfriends family if they saw the light as well. They said, all of them, that they did and they saw it twice! I was surprised and let it churn over in my mind for around 30mins...

I approached another window while I was on the phone with my uncle, who also was in a different location in Antioch.. and I told him about the light. He said his power did not go off nor did he see a light... just then at that moment I saw the light one last time.. this time it was more violent. It was bigger mixture of blue and white and lasted longer.. then it disappeared..

This just happened about 2 hours ago, central standard time (around 9:20pm was the first sighting) in Antioch IL (USA).. I dont know what to think about it but I do know what I saw and what my girlfriends family saw..and it was unmistakable.

Please respond and tell me what all of you think of this.

Hey my name is Blake, Im 19, i live in westhills ca. My girlfriend cameron lives in tarzana. I feel like im the only one trippin out right now, she could care less lol. I cant explain what i just saw at all. After we came back from getting cigarettes from the gas station on reseda and topham, we walked into the gate of her front yard and a giant beam of light was on top of us... We both looked, i saw more of the thing, right when i looked at it the "beam" had totally dissapeared but an orb circle shaped thing was moving slow flew over her house moving west i believe. GLOWING BLUE. I saw the "trail" of the light to when it was moving if you know what that means. as it moved tho it seemed to dim. The beam lasted no more than 2 seconds. Much brighter than a camera, and very much "blue". The thing that freaked me out was how "close it was... litterly about 2 feet from the roof. Two story house btw. Im not a believer in "ufos" but i definetly can not explain wtf this thing was. I have NEVER seen anything like it. Neither am i christian, Im Native american and practice our spirtual ways... From the Luiseno tribe in San diego county. Im definetly the guy to bag on people for writing the things like this... I would be the first one to say your crazy haha. At first i thought it was the cops. O yea and absolutly NO SOUND what so ever, just the neighboors dogs going crazy. This happend about 25-30 minutes ago to. Im speechless and probly wont get any sleep tonight lmao but w/e. Lets hope i dont get abducted...

hey man, i saw the exact same thing. I was in broadbeach just near the casino.

A massive blue light filled the entire sky around 1.10-1.20am. was NOT lightening. There were coulds in the sky, but you could still see many stars. It didnt rain and there was no thunder. Also lightening is more like a camera flash, this was like a solid blue - similar to this websites background colour - that illuminated EVERYTHING.

it was enough to make the three of us say "What the F*** was that!?!?!?!?"
It was very surreal.

Hello, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio in the US and its Feb. 18 2010 just past 12:30 am. We have just had the worst snow in 7 years, close to 2 feet. A little less than 15 min. ago the whole sky lit up blue, like others had said it was as if a camera flashed on the world in blue. I was walking a friend to her car along with my boyfriend and all 3 of us saw it. Before we could even ask our roommate if he had saw it, he asked us. Then with in 2 minutes of the sighting another friend texted us to tell us that his electric just flickered off and back on a couple of times and that he saw a flash through blinds but he thought it was like lightning or something. Our electric didn`t go out though. My boyfriend and roommate are outside right now looking about. Ill update soon.

My boyfriend found nothing strange outside when he went to go check outside out.

I too frequently see these blue flashes in the night sky, I live in New Zealand and about two weeks ago the sky flashed blue about ten times in the time space of twenty minutes. So I kept staring outside and it decided to flash one more time and about a second after the flash a glowing red spherical object very far in the distance dropped from the sky? am I seeing things?
P.S I am also facing north.

Ok i was traveling down a road near my house when a huge, i mean almost half the night sky lite up in a bright blue haze!It lasted about 20 seconds then it started to fade but then a huge blue stream of light shot upwards and then it all ended.Havnt seen anything more.I live in north texas and the light was straight north of me.It was so ackward.I went about 15 miles further north and didnt see anything that would indecate a explosion of blown transformer?If anyone knows what i just saw please tell me.

Hi All. I live in Sydney, Australia & saw something of the same nature last night (26th Aug 2010) at approximately 11.25pm. I was travelling west on a motorway whilst on the phone to my friend. At the time I was probably about 3km north of her house when the entire sky lit up blue. We both saw it at the same time & thought WTF??? I think the brighter area of the sky was in the north but it's hard to say whether that was correct. My friend said she noticed it go blue then followed by a more greenish tone for a brief moment.
I'd say the colour only lasted about 2 seconds max.

I was on my way to my partners house in the lower blue mountains (15mins from where I saw the flash) He too saw the colour in the sky.

Very bizzare & a little unnerving.
I have seen other times when the sky has changed to the colour red but know that is an aurora australis (aka - the southern lights) but this was nothing like that.

I find it quite strange that the majority of sightings of this strange blue light is around the same time in the evening & also more towards the north.

I'm very interested in an explanation to what we saw last night.

Anyone know what planet or star that is that's hanging under the moon? Wierdest I've seen?

Hi my name is Tiara I live in Orlando Fl. I have also experienced the big blue light. I was outside with 5 other people it couldn't have been no later then 1 in the morning on a friday or saturday,i dont remember. I believe this happened back in 09' .We were all just sitting outside in my driveway talking and waiting for a friend to get off work. We were walking around when all of a sudden a huge blue light just lit up the sky. At first we all just started assuming things like it must have been a transformer blowing up but then we realized,there was no sound,no bang,no boom,no crackle,NOTHING. We were all slightly freaked out at first but then we just kept looking up hoping to see something,anything. Still nothing. But the thing is,is I for one know this isn't the first time I have seen this. There was another time,same place,but just me and my sister. The sky lit up blue,no sounds,nothing. She says she doesn't remember it happening. Something like that is unforgettable.But then again,she ran inside the moment she saw it. I've always been fascinated with space and aliens and stuff like that. I honestly just want someone authentic just to come out and say "Yes there are extraterrestrials,yes we've been visited,and yes we've been hiding it."

I have just joined this site to explain what i saw at 7.10am this morning. I live In the middle of England on the outskirts of a small down called Burton on Trent. I was walking to my car it was still fairly dark and i saw a blue streak of light perfectly virtical that that probably lasted 2 seconds and came from the distance ( we have fields behind our house). I was like a wider version of lightening but straight from the ground to the clouds.

Never ever seen anything like it. Could it be a trick of the light with it being dawn?

Any ideas it was very freaky
