You are right about that, they where mistaken this time, but despite they where mistaken they still has behind the scenes total control over it in my opinion.
And not only in this case but so many others as well.
They still control the important BIG media so to speak and therefore the BIG majority of the people.
Because those people still think that this phenomenon is nothing more then misinterpretations or secret new military stuff, definitely not Aliens, because the military says for decades now that they don’t exist.
And those two are very powerful joker cards they use to keep it under wrap.
Look for instance how it really goes in the Larry King shows with this phenomenon, yes it is live, yes there are people/witnesses who may tell the story, but on the other hand, they [those who controls the show] has always one or more professional debunkers in the show and the BIG majority of the people still think that they are telling the truth.
But that is only my opinion of course; I really hope I am wrong.

The point goes beyond the existence of alien technology or not. What it points to as other posters said is the existence of a government within a government and US military doesn't have to answer legitimate queries from civilians. Who is in charge? What's worse is that Americans seem to think this is normal and that nobody can do anything about it!

2 earthquakes (minor 3.0) in Dallas today. Not sure if this has anything to do with whats going on just south of there but its interesting. I'm 44 and I don't ever remember any quakes in Dallas. Could they be using HAARP to chase these things away? Could HAARP be whats causing these sightings? Lots of questions but not very many answers.

Ricky Sorrells didn't describe what he saw as being triangular in shape and it took up the entire sky above him. Doubt we have a blimp that large.

On the third picture it looks like another ufo in the lower left hand corner.

I've been wondering if they are still seeing them.

This case reminds me a lot of the Lebanon, Illinois case which is referenced in your source, and that also seemed to have characteristics of a stealth blimp. That object was also described as very large so I imagine the blimps can be made extremely large. In fact think about it for a minute. If you design a lighter than air airship, it's lift and payload capacity will be partly related to its size so if you want it to carry a large payload, it might need to be pretty big.

The fact that Lockheed holds a stealth blimp patent adds credibility to the idea.

I'm not sure what they saw IS the stealth blimp but if I were to list possibilities of what they saw, I think I have to put the stealth blimp very close to the top of the list, if not at the top.

Yes, UFOs are still being seen in the Stephenville area. I'm friends with a key witness from the 2008 sightings. Don't know why the media isn't covering them.

Could you ask your friend if anyone has more pictures of them?

If he/she does they could be posted on ATS and that would help get the word out that they are still seeing them.

After reading the MUFON report in its entirety, I wonder why nobody appears (as far as I can see) to place the following interpretation on the events.

The whole thing was a demonstration, planned, prepared and monitored by those same airforce departments who refused any useful information. I have no doubt that a large aircraft of some type overflew the area and everything the witnesses reported is true. However, I have some reservations about their ability to determine the true size of the craft. The MUFON report adheres to the visual estimates based on angular dimension, which is notoriously difficult to estimate. Very few people under these circumstances would know the difference between a degree and ten degrees. At least one witness had difficulty even understanding the concept, so the value of his statement was effectively dismissed. A slow flying 747 at 500 feet is visually gigantic, but as aircraft go, not particularly unusual.
And why no offensive action from the fighters? After all, any unidentified craft getting withing ten miles of the Bush residence would be attacked as a matter of course. This thing had an escort! The AWAC was there because of the security ramifications. Dubya was said to be not at home at the time. Maybe cos he was actually on board?

Now call me picky but what apart of stealth does this sighting conform to? last time i checked the whole raison d'etre of stealth craft was to avoid detection, not fly, in plain sight, and set off every radar in the area with a return that suggests someone is flying a stadium through sovereign airspace?

Personally, if i was running a black op department and Lockheed announced they'd just spent dot suqillion dollars of developing a *stealth blimp* that lit up radars like Blackpool illuminations, it would be consigned to the big red file marked *FAIL*.
