I am pretty amazed the Stephenville case seem to have stopped short, nothing new since mid 2008 then, what a shame. The military explanation "ex post" was lame, to me it sounds like they scrambled the F16s to chase something "unknown" that was approaching prohibited airspace with great speed.
Military we know vs. the military industrial complex President Eisenhower warned us about ? Perhaps they act as cat and mouse, pitting their new materials and machines against each other (a sort of fabricated arms race).
