How is this relevant? I'm not paying Limbaugh's salary and neither are any of the hard working poor you referred to, but I would be paying for the extra energy costs (the elitist) Gore wants to saddle us with, and so would all the hard working poor.

A calmer voice would then have to ask you in response, "If Limbaugh is only and all those things you mentioned, then why are you at all concerned at all about him?" He should be and mean nothing to you. But paradoxically, there you are all worked up and screaming about Limbaugh. The only explanation has to be that in spite of all your rantings about Limbaugh, you must in reality consider him the most dangerous man in America. Again why if he is all the things you've said?

I don't have an agenda. I merely stated my opinion that if you're going to hang Rush from a tree for certain things, then hang them all. It does have to do with this thread. Go back and read all the posts and you will find out how it links to Obama.

I guess the main point here is Rush worth it to who is paying him the money? Will he bring in more than $400 million in advertising during the next 9 years? Most likely I'd say he's more worth that money than the High Priced Ceo who presides over a period of diminishing profits, equity value loss, and scandal.

Another idea I've had is this. Rush was at his most popular and had his biggest audience during the Clinton years. Is Clear Channel making a bet based on who they believe will win the Election this year? Also Rush is no fan of McCain so even if McCain wins he will likely have Rush stirring the stinky stuff amongst hard line conservatives.

I do occasionaly listen to Rush, but am not a fan. Rush and Larry Flynt are made of the same cloth--no one has ever gone broke underestimating the taste of the American public.
