But I don't believe in them either

I did convince myself that there might be some sort of anthropologically interesting phenomenon going on in Puerto Rico and Mexico. And I think that the wildlife authorities should be trying to figure out why so many coyote/wolf/dog mixes have such terrible cases of mange in the southwest.

But a Chupacabra? probably not.

Yay, for Dingbat!! That was a tough topic -- btw, who picked that out? Well fought!

Ian had known I was looking for another newbie to debate, so when FSBA posted in the Public Fight Club he u2u'ed me to see if I was interested.

At the time, FSBA's latest thread on his profile was about cryptozoology, so that seemed like a good area to suggest. I think I suggested that we could either take on a specific cryptid and debate its existence, or do something more specific, and FSBA suggested the chupacabra.

So, it was a joint venture

I am under flood control and will be out for a while today. I sent you the correspondence from Semper thus far and my response. Let's see what he says and then figure out a topic when we know what our sanctioned parameters.

I would still like to start Monday or Tues. if possible.

Newbie gets bartender duty. Google image search and Photobucket.com accounts are your best friends for your first month or so in Fight Club

There may be some minor hazing, but most of the fighters are big softies inside. And they're easy to keep happy, as long as we never run out of booze.

We hoodwinked another poor soul into cheap labor. Er... A most hearty and warm welcome to the Fight Club!

Please don't be blinded by our spectacularly lush surroundings. Only the best for our little elite group.

But before you make yourself to comfortable, you need to earn your stripes. Here's an apron and a bar towel. A couple of things to remember while on duty: keep the fridge stocked and the top shelf booze is for seasoned fighters only.

Also, don't forget to fill the snack bowls with sweet and savory munchies and the broom closet is next to the restrooms.

Hey, I noticed that DATS is all distracted watching football today, perhaps we should stop by and say 'hi'? And, I notice they have a mobile bar. Interesting thing, that, a mobile bar. Not saying we should do anything like, say, get one of our own, or that. I just want us to all be one big happy loving community, share and share alike.
