Maker's Mark is definitely among my favorites (and is the standard bribe for at least one person higher than me on this board).

Oh, and we've had podcast debates before, sorry S. I think Semper might have been one of the first but I'm not sure.

We once mulled the idea of a chat debate or live audio debate via skype, but so far it hasn't happened.

Secrets? Hmm, let's see.... oh, that's right, there's no secret: just say what you believe. That, and something about Scotch.

Now, where did I put that coaster?

I drank heavily during both one of my favorite and one of my worst debates. The good one was the Christmas Carolers are the Scion of Satan debate against Memoryshock.
Wasn't scotch though.

That I want to read and the search is giving me nothing. Can you link to it?

Your drink.

For me, I've found it really doesn't help much drinking while composing a debate reply. Sure, it can help when expressing the fanatic pursuit of a point, but in my case it also tends to lead to too many commas and subclauses, something I already have a little bit of a problem with.

However, after a post, and especially after a debate, waiting for the results, well, that's another story...

Speaking of which, has anyone seen MemoryShock?

Thanks! I found, that besides being humourous, it was an illuminating read in that one can see how Mem has grown in his debating skills in the last three years. Who knows, at that level you may have beaten him

I tease, you did a very fine job making your case and I imagine the judges are wrestling mightily with their verdicts.

Ian, what's up with the boost? Are you still in the market for cohorts to pull off the heist?

Naah, I realized that 'sharing' the DATS mobile bar for ourselves would be a little redundant. After all, we're plenty stocked up as it is. Besides, they're just starting to trust the penguins again; that can only help our cause.

Yeah, it has been a long road.

Sky: I think we'll go with a random on this one...

TheVagabond: I already promised Sky a match soon; but if he is amenable to the master, we could could postpone and have that rematch I have been itching for since my second round loss to you...

Schro Dog: Still waiting...

Actually, I would like to honor the original agreement...

Random Topic chosen by semper a few days after I recieve judgment for the Schro Dog debate.

The time of start can be amended per your preference.

Though there were a couple of topics you offered that were tempting...

You're not going to set us up with a "Alien Reptiles From Planet Nibiru Cost McCain The Election"-esque topic, are you?

I would want pro on that one...

The only hint you are getting

The topic is one that is hotly contested here on the boards

I have no idea how much experience either of you have in the area I will choose

It is one that needs two experienced fighters to tackle

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Better get ready as I will have the judgment on your debate tonight

Here's a good topic: "Drill Baby Drill" Is drilling for more offshore oil really a good idea?
Or something to that effect.

I have been saving it for some time now
