Foreign Communist Paramilitary protecting Olympic Torch in San Francisco

Are you kidding me.

There are Chinese troops on US streets and have been known to have arrested protesters in other countries. What is going on here? Are our police not capable of protecting the Olympic torch?

Do you mind it when US Secret Service guys follow Bush around with miniguns when he visits other countries? If the answer is no, then your position is somewhat hypocritical.

With some of the discussions which take place here I think you can get a feeling for how a cross section of the public feels about the whole police state thing. That having been said, do you think it wise to put a Chinese Paramilitary presence on the streets of the US right now? Are they trying to instigate a violent insurrection? I think perhaps they are.

By the way this is the Olympic torch were talking about and not some Politician. Secret Service is a Government entity and is to be expected to be following the President.

It would be like Blackwater parading the Liberty bell through other countries and pushing protesters around who tried to stop it. It has always been the duty of the local police to provide crowd control for this event, why this year with the world on edge do we allow foreign paramilitary groups to trample all over our lands?

The Chinese Military is famous for shooting and oppressing its own people, what do you think is going to happen in San Francisco? NO freaking WAY!

I hope that some of our experts come on here and start debunking this story, because as much as some would like to see American go down they will have to learn that we are founded on the principal of rights and freedom 'for all'. This would be a blood bath!

At present the world views American citizens lumped together with our administrations, but that could be no further from the truth just as the Tibetans are no representation of the Socialistic country they belong to.

While their task is to prevent the flame from being extinguished - a role they failed in on three occasions as the flame made its way through Paris - they have been seen to wrestle protestors to the ground using techniques acquired at China’s Armed Police Academy, according to the Times newspaper.

The men are reported to have graduated from the academy less than a year ago with some of their colleagues currently employed in Tibet to quell anti-Chinese demonstrations.

That’s disgraceful. But its worse that the USA is letting them do it.

They wanted to do that when the Torch gets here in Australia on the 24th, but our government has put them in their place and warned them.

Our Prime Minister said there is no way Chinese Security will be here in Australia, all guards and security will be Australian and only Australian.

WOW! That's not even remotely close to being the same thing here, dave420... oh... that explains it... the "420"

This should be a US law enforcement presence. Regardless of the Olympics to be held in China, it is simply a torch... not a person... I don't see the need for them to be here. It seems to me that any conflict would arise much more quickly from either side of this issue and it could/would get real ugly, real quick.

I feel pretty confident that the video provided shows about 10 of them escorting the torch from the gate to the concourse. About the only thing missing was the fanny packs - surely they wouldn't allow them firearms in a US airport.

So It appears that a communist paramilitary group is currently on US soil.

Anyone else have any observations contrary?

Would also like to see pictures from the route of these guys doing their thing.

Others had this covered before he decided to posted it on his little money making website heck, one ATS member posted the news during the Greece rally!!

On the day of the London protest, many UK members confirmed the news too. But, Alex Jones is only concerned if he can spin a news story to make it exclusively aimed at America *yawns*

What time does the Torch Relay start in San Francisco? It’s currently 6am Thursday here now in Australia. So how long until it starts in San Fran?

OK, well I'm sorry - I was aware of no Shh area. Point is it is happening now and I am very concerned that someone is going to go off half-cocked and do something rash.

Had we been aware that it was going down like this i believe we would have vehemently protested to stop it - I at least know I would have.

I just found out about this and its quite frankly a GD disgrace.
