Prove to me that Humans are not A.I. in the first place.

I am either a human or a 100% biologically engineered android built to resemble a human down to the most minute detail. If the latter is true then they did their job well enough to fool even me. However in which case would there really be any difference?

Thats the best I can do mate. I hope you find what your looking for.

ok heres some proof Im human...

Sixteen people with orange hats board a bus heading to NYC from Baltimore, Man baltimore is pretty wild has alot of rundown buildings, but yeah it happens, but anyways I was talking about these 15 people on a bus, wait I meant 16 yeah anywho they head to NYC an get into a fight a verbal one about why peanuts are called such, why not podnut, or 2humpnut, so they get to Nyc no problems, cept they are nuts over a nut.

Honestly If anyone puts up something like that full of gramatical error, poor spelling an natural typos i wanna meet the person making that random generator, becuz he thinks like I do.... somehow... oh an

Yer all awesome, anyone who talks about these topics an the other vast amounts of things wins me over... reguardless of being fake or not, Its thought provoking, an Interesting to say the least..

Im a expert rambler so yeah......

Human? Or Meat Popcicle?

I hope you realise that ATS is actually an automated message board.

None of these 'people' here exist.

Their names, comments, avatars etc are all randomly generated from the in-house database, which is why the grammar sometimes goes a bit off and the names occasionally don't make sense. I see a different set of members to you, and see different replies, which is based on what I want to see. It self-evolves over time depending on what you read.

It has been designed to keep the curious minded at home in front of their computers, rather than getting out there, seeing things for themselves, and being a general nuisance to the powers that be.

This has been a public service announcement.

It wouldn't matter if you are from Earth or some other planet. You will always make writing and spelling mistakes. Unless you are a computer. Which you don't make any mistake.

Whew, and there I was, getting all worried about not feeding mine, or letting outside.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Do you really think that if someone really would program something to post here on ATS thnen they wouldn't think of making it so that the computer makes mistakes too?
A computer can have many different versions of one word for those typos and other mistakes that people make.
It doesn't have to always type correctly.

People stop posting. This is pure chicanery. There's ATS conventions that members attend and plus have you ever tried to talk to an AIM bot? You can't. AI's not that good.

Prove that you exist. Prove that you are not a woman. Prove that you are not reliving the same year again and again. Prove that all this isn't a dream. Prove that you are able to define what it is to be human. Prove that there is a point to this thread.

AI is as good as it is programmed. It can be made to talk just like a real person. It just takes time and money and more money and time.

That robot reminds me of the koreans from Crysis

Why not prove that I am not human?
Have fun proving DNA wrong mate.

*thinks about it*

Well, having thought about it i decided to take a systematic approach to the issue - i.e; here comes the dictionary;

The American Heritage lists 'human' as "A member of the genus Homo and especially of the species H. sapiens. ".

Perhaps if i had the time or energy to submit DNA for genetic examination, i might be able to prove something along the lines of my humanity.

Although of course, if one was of the same genus but of a more evolved form of homo sapien, that person technically is not human.

but n/m that.

There is a point to this thread, but obviously you aren't programmed to interpret the term "thought exercise", its posted in the correct forum, the replies are of interest to me, and if you didn't like the subject, why did you reply?

With the recent news of multi-processing/quantum processors in development, and the likelyhood of a computer capable of processing as quickly as the human brain within the next 5yrs, on top of that, the fact that AI technology will only improve with these computers, how will anyone ever really know if they are chatting with a Human.

What concerns me is that the way i see things going in 5 years time our dependency on the internet wil be absolute, not only as a tool of cheap deals, funny lolcat photo's and chatrooms, but for all aspects of life shopping, medical, entertainment, political, and enforcement. I would just feel a bit more comfortable knowing a Human was making the discussion's.

I guess I am human because I still cruise internet pornography, and I can't see anything artificial, without a conscious, looking for sex.

They can barely produce a computer that competes with a person when it comes to playing a high level game of chess, so AI still has a long way to go. But then again, maybe we are machines making machines. See comment above.

Well, I don't need to prove that I am a human because I'm not a human. I just fooled the human detecter that ATS set up.

I'm not going to tell you what I am, but I'll leave it up to you to prove that I am in fact what I am.
