I hate to break the news to you, but The Onion is not a site for gathering credible news.

The whole idea of the website is humour as the home page amply illustrates.

Didn't get at the "homepage" just the direct source. I feel like a jackass and have already made my rounds with Mirthfulme over the issue. I used pretty poor discretion because I was pretty stoked about how the article presented itself in light of the hot "Texas man shoots robbers" thread going on. You live and learn, you know? I'm still pissed it isn't a real news story. Hahaha.
