Bush lifts ban on vigilantism!

www.theonion.com

Bush said at a White House press conference. "I've never supported government intrusion in people's lives; I've always put more faith in the private sector. So I say, what the heck! Let's give vigilantism a go and see how things shake out. Why not?"

With the great dicussion happening in the thread about the thieves being killed while breaking into a home, I thought this could spark even greater debate. Private sector protection, good or bad?

I hate to break the news to you, but The Onion is not a site for gathering credible news.

The whole idea of the website is humour as the home page amply illustrates.

Didn't get at the "homepage" just the direct source. I feel like a jackass and have already made my rounds with Mirthfulme over the issue. I used pretty poor discretion because I was pretty stoked about how the article presented itself in light of the hot "Texas man shoots robbers" thread going on. You live and learn, you know? I'm still pissed it isn't a real news story. Hahaha.

Indeed!

And now I shall star you as well DFB.

You live and you learn right?

There is no law against being unfamiliar with "The Onion". In fact, it's probably a badge of honor to not know them.

Keep up the good work bro!

Regardless, I'm comfortable with my sexuality. Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. And he's probably too far away to fight. So Solarskye, you're fine with me, eitherway.

Thanks for pointing that out to the oblivious, Beachcoma. I don't know if it helped or hurt, but thanks...
