As for out of body experiences, astral projection and the like, the practitioners always seem to embrace doctrines directly opposed to the Bible and the gospel of Jesus Christ. That my friends reveals the true source of such phenomenon, the devil, sorry to say.

I tend to agree with alot of your points and to also disagree. I dont think all circumstances of OOBE are demonic in nature. For example the hospitolized patient who spontaniously has a OOBE while on the operating table, is this the devil influencing the poor innocent dying patient? (Near death experiences in general are also a form of OOBE.) No of course not, I believe OOBE is a inate skill within all mankind for some unknown purpose, it is neither good nor evil. However it can be manipulated by outside forces to better suit their purpose.

Me personally i dabbled with OOBE about 2 years ago and i found it amazing, real, and scary as hell. I definatly felt a "evil" edge to it all. Hard to explain but it honestly felt as if the deeper I explored this odd ability the more i would lose myself in it, something definatly felt very wrong about it on a spiritual level (and no i'm not that spiritually minded in general).

RG, do you recall being spoken to on your way up and out by a barely audible female sounding voice? Did you at any time attempt to strain to move even your head? Were there others in your home that could have had a shared experience? Would you ever consider going under hypnosis to fill in the details? Do you have neighbors that you could question about any possible lights that may have been seen over your house at the time of your abduction? Were any animals in or near the area you were abducted from? And wouldnt it be nice to coin a better resonating name for what you experienced than 'abduction'?

Very interesting if it happened! Unfortunatly there are alot of people who make stuff up for attention, and that makes it hard for everyone else to believe something written like this. I am leaning on the side of believing you because i have just posted a story with no proof of photos or anything but it is true. It's weird you remember that experience i wish i remembered something. All i remember is being scared to the point that i couldn't move, then waking up the next morning. In a few days if you wake up with a rash witch turns to a scar let us know cause that's what happened to me.

Well OK if you want to get technical. I suppose near death experiences where the soul is ripped out of the body due to trauma qualify as NDE's as well.

Hmmm your experiences are interesting. I had an experience where as a young teenager I foolishly attempted to hypnotize my sister and then told her to astrally project and attempt some remote viewing. The results were frightening. She started to channel ancient greek gods, spouting some information and names that none of us had ever heard of. I have to assume she was channeling evil spirits.

Well this doughnut shaped stone was cut as a big circle to be worn as a pendent and it only weighs a bit over an ounce......so I know it doesnt impair my ability to breath at all
Rhodachrosite stone carries the energy of 'forgiveness' and I purchased it just for this energetic property. No....no sounds at all

YES.....I tried to move, and then I was trying to WILL movement with brain power.......didnt work

My 14 yr old son was in his room..........I have NOT mentioned this event to him at all, as I do not want him to fear anything might be 'taking' either of us...

Were any animals in or near the area you were abducted from?

Yes I have a very dear pet cat who is very close to me....usually sleeps with me. During this event however I had no awareness as to where Poodle was at....(yes my cats NAME IS Poodle)

You stated you are a stay at home mom. What did you husband or significant other state about the ordeal? Does he/she recall anything? Did he/she see you missing etc?

It's been over 24 hours since your original post. Are you still as excited about your experience as you were when you decided to share with us?

Also, since you know quite a bit about OOBE's, I was also wondering if you ever researched any medical or psychological reasons why people might experience them? I am asking this because somebody, somewhere who has had this type of experience without knowing what it is, must have consulted some sort of specialist in the medical field at some time.

I haven't read your other thread do to time, but am looking forward to it. I apologize if you have addressed my question there.

Well no one said it was either rare or valuable, and it was mentioned by me as a 'possible issue' because it was new to me that day and I made a pendant that afternoon which I wore to bed, and THAT was the only new and or different thing introduced into my life that day.....
I was telling about WHAT was new, and what might have been different that day is all...hence the discussion of the stone.
I hope that clears up any confusion talking about the stone may be causing....

No I am not so excited actually. I have been puzzled.I am thinking I was taken for some healing issues....and yesterday and today my back hurts in the most INTENSE way........it it awful. I broke my back once years ago and it gives me troubles....but yesterday and today it is feeling much like a fresh break and I am moving slowly and stiffly.....I am more deeply exausted than normal for me....

During past healing episodes I have experienced pain getting much worse as it is burning itself out, and after the intense upping of the pain it totally goes away....I am hoping and praying that this is such a case. I keep laying down and falling asleep and I usually don't nap at all so its NOT normal behavior for me......my son has even commented that he has to keep waking my up and I am moving in a weird way.....
I had him check my back and spine but he says he see's nothing like any kind of scar or little red marks or pin prick type scabs.....

So NO.................my back is hurting me so bad I am no very thrilled with whatever took place......

I have never seen any beings that I thought were not of this world......

This was the 1st time I have ever experienced something of this nature.....I have never been completely in the power of something 'other'

Well maybe you were abducted, maybe not. I remember this happenening to me a few times, late at night, and it seems just as I fall asleep, I am jolted back awake and can't move my body. I can see my room clearly, but my body is paralayzed. Sometimes I can feel my body float towards the ceiling, but no bright light for me. A very strange phenomenon, whatever it is.

I hope you find out more information, I would like to know too.
As me being abducted would sure explain alot Lol.

Out of body experience Sounded great though.


The first time I experienced sleep paralysis I felt extremely compromised. I felt like I wasn't alone, that something was messing with me etc. I believe if I had an involuntary OOBE I would have the exact same feeling.

Yep yep. That's sleep paralysis and it's perfectly natural. It can lead to Out of Body experiences, because the same mechanism which keeps our waking soul to the body is the same that slips up during an out of body experience and sleep paralysis.

The soul leaves the body every night during sleep, we simply catch it in the process during accidental OOBE's and sleep paralysis. Also, when you feel yourself jolting awake from sleep sometimes, even if not paralyzed, it feels like you fell from some height and landed in your bed. That's exactly what I'm talking about.
