I received this as an e-mail from my corporate banker and was glad to find a link to the story.

If this has been posted already, my apologies.

Of course, I have no idea how much truth there is to this but if you read through the article you will see there were meetings with Wanta on Sunday, the 4th. Coincidentally, the same day an emergency board meeting was called for Citi in which Charles Prince, the CEO was called to resign.

Stan O'Neal, of Merrill Lynch also resigned his position.

Your "corporate banker" sent this to you?

Are you serious..?

This is an internet scam that's been going on for years. Read all about the Leo Wanta trillions and make a donation to my website...

It is funny you mention this. I have a bridge that I am looking to sell...

Don't you think a story like this would have been talked about a little more by now?

Yes, he did send it to me. *sigh*

I'll let him know it's a scam.

Thanks.

( God, I hate feeling like a moron)

Hey, don't feel bad. This comes up every few months and it's not surprising it's back again now after the Citibank meeting.

What the? 4.5 Trillion is almost half of the national debt. Are there any links to reliable sources? For even just one CitiBank arrest?

The closest I can find is this:
www.thespoof.com...

Thanks....I guess it makes sense that something like this would come up after all the events lately with these groups.

Is there any truth to the Wanta stuff at all?
