Think about it, what's so wrong. Sure, we'd loose sovereinty, but our sovereignty does nothing for me. I still live where I live. Sure the arguement can be made that you can be oppressed by the government, but theres nothing stopping the government from oppressing us right now, the only thing that stops it is our own oversight, not another countries. Perhaps, maybe, we should have a one world government. Think about it, no more war over territory, no more bickering, very little warfare, everybody working together for the good of mankind. What's so wrong about that?

Granted, there will always be conflicts, but I think the pros outweigh the cons when it comes to the "new world order"

So, what country do you plan to move to when your government becomes corrupt and your justice system ignores you? Who are you going to tell when the planet is controlled by the people committing the crimes?

I think "everybody working together for the good of mankind" wont happen as long as money exists.

A one world government is probobly inevitable, but the problem is that it's being done behind closed doors and without the general public's knowledge or approval.

I dont think the public would understand the dangers of it anyway. You only need to look at how some countries are being run today to realize what a horrible world it would be if the entire planet was run that way. What if the world government decides to bomb some area for profit or conduct experiments on people? Who are you going to tell? Just look at the US for gods sake...

And there is absolutely no stopping that development. Money > Everything. There is not a single super power out there that is not corrupt. That sends a powerful message about world government.

We need LESS government involvement in our lifes and more personal freedom. We need less representatives of who we are and more direct opinions. We need less globalized media telling us what to think and more different sources to help us think for ourselfs.

Yeah, who are you going to tell now? Human experiments STILL go down in the United states on a day to day basis, nobody in the world cares. There IS no body to tell, so whats the point?

Propaganda usually has to do with dealing with OTHER countries, and telling people what to think about them. And usually, our centralized government involvement has to deal with dealing with small areas. Perhaps with ONE government, government interaction is much broader, and less invasive. after all, theres alot more stuff it needs to deal with.

In any case, it already is a one world government, they are just preparing people to accept it.

Its not that i dont WANT a One World Gov. , what i dont like is how it may come about ; obviously through bloodshed and havoc and chaos that results from no more oil, war, famine, diesease, etc. Thats how a OWG will come about, out of chaos comes order.

And if a OWG comes like a NWO, in a negative and destructive way, then i wil fight.

BUT if it comes in a peaceful manner, where a PERFECT utopia CAN be created for us, then i'm aboard that train.

Its just the whole way that its going to come that scares me.

If the one world government is a constitutional Republic, then I'm all for it. However, I don't think it's going to happen in our lifetimes... there are way too many cultural differences right now for it to happen.

Your forgetting that people generally work out their differences and live peacefully and the only reason we have all the crap is because they provoke it all through false religions fake bombings corrupt media etc. people would have still had conflict without their little head games but it wouldnt have gotten this bad

No way. If we had a world government, you would be even more controlled. Global computer systems tracking everybody in real time would quickly be implemented. The media would be owned by a handful of people so they would control what people think and know by their decisions about what to air or not.

The corruption would be incredible. If you think the US is corrupt now, just imagine it on a world scale. The people at the top of the pyramid would control the press, and would be able to get away with whatever they wanted. In short, they would be Gods of the planet. Untouchable.

The Internet would also be controlled. Forget about having stuff like the 9/11 truth movement. The official story of what happens would be the only one being allowed to exist.

With a world government, we would truly have a giant prison planet.

It's going to happen. We can't stop it. Just as through human development our units of "us" have increased in size, from the chief to the King, we will continue this trend until everyone is under the same leader. It won't be as bad as everyone thinks - this leader won't be Hitler. Each area will have its own regional government, but oversight will be given from a single place. That means there will be no war between the areas governed - the only conflict will be from folks who don't like it.

Sovereignty is rubbish - we will always have sovereignty. If you showed one of your ancient ancestors the sheer number of people and area governed by our current leaders, they'd have a fit. It's all about perspective, and that's constantly changing. A chieftain from thousands of years ago wouldn't approve of countries being ruled by one person, just as we don't approve of an entire planet being ruled by one person.

Trying to extrapolate our current political shortcomings into this inevitable world government is fraught with danger, as from a logical standpoint it's bankrupt. There is no certainty that what exists now will exist then, be it institutions, thought processes, governmental proclivities, etc. so assuming they will, and using that as a reason to not have a world government, is a bit ridiculous.

It will happen. It will help. We will have to make a lot of changes. Those currently "on top" in the world situation will have to be happy with being just another country, which isn't easy, but it *is* necessary, and it's for the good of the entire world.

When that happens, "us" will mean "humans", not "humans from my country", which will obviously be of massive benefit to the entire planet.

What does a One World Government mean exactly ? common laws and rules perhaps ? common taxes, fees, tarrifs or duties ? more order and less chaos or war ? peace and tranquility forever ?

History is a good guide to what is just around corner as it has this uncanny ability to repeat itself time and time again. I would suggest using it as a guide there would be opression, starvation, famine, war, control of things like belief systems and freedom of expression, imprisonment and enslavement ect....

So with that a distinct possibility, what could the difference be this time if there is single world body ( Junta ) in control of the entire world population ?? hmmmmm more of the same only on an incomprehensible scale with no checks and balances to ensure "good" has a chance to exist.

Great point Copernicus,
Look how America started, it was a lot of people disgruntled with Europe, repressed Christian sects and the like.

all who refuse to 'worship' the beast will be put to death...all who refuse to take the mark of the beast will be an outcast/terrorist...enslaved or killed or hunted....the whole world will be sucked in by this dude...& it will be too late by the time they start to 'wake up' to the reality of the totalitarian 'state' /NWO....(we are so close to it now it's not funny)

The reason there has been so much bickering and wars in the past has been due to desire to acquire more land mass (not an issue in a NWO) and, more importantly, ideological differences. One country, represented (supposedly) by it's leader has one view on how things should be and another country believes something different.
America, the great melting pot of the world, where people of all religions, colors, creeds, beliefs, etc. come together on one land mass can not agree on much of anything. We (used to) have a constitutional republic form of government where the sovereignty of the individual is paramount. When ideological conflicts arise here, we have one set of laws to settle disputes and still we have the highest prison population per capita in the world.
In a NWO we would essentially have a dictatorial government. It may be a benign dictator but that dictator (or more likely, oligarchy) would deny the sovereignty of the individual for the sake of peace in the group and, ultimately, control of the group. No longer would people be treated like adults who are free to make their own decisions but we would be herded into regions and directed like children for the good of the world "household".
I agree that resistance may be futile but I hold out hope that such a system will collapse of it's own ineptitude in one generation. When the current leaders of the NWO die off the choice of new leaders will have to be picked from a generation of children who have never had the opportunity to think, decide, plan for themselves. They will not be leaders. In the long run it is a plan that can not work but the transition period will undoubtedly be so horrific that it will stay in the collective memory of mankind for millenia to come, much like our "legends" and "myths".
The human spirit is indominatable and life always finds a way to grow. We can not live in a stagnated society that a global government will bring.

The governments IN existence looooove these threads to see how the Billy Cooper 2.0s are dealing w/ their threats.

There is plenty wrong with this concept. It's Nazi in origin and based in population reduction theories.

"World government" is where you're not truly included, you're either the slave or the dead body.... people forget what the word 'sovereignty' actually means -- "freedom from external control." Do you want rights as we know them? Right to vote, elect, run for office? Well, should you, better think twice about a 1WG.

John Coleman's description in his book Conspirators' Hierarchy, sums a "one-world government" descriptively:

A One World Government and one-unit monetary system, under permanent non-elected hereditary oligarchists who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population.

There will be no middle class, only rulers and the servants. All laws will be uniform under a legal system of world courts practicing the same unified code of laws, backed up by a One World Government police force and a One World unified military to enforce laws in all former countries where no national boundaries shall exist.

The system will be on the basis of a welfare state; those who are obedient and subservient to the One World Government will be rewarded with the means to live; those who are rebellious will simple be starved to death or be declared outlaws, thus a target for anyone who wishes to kill them. Privately owned firearms or weapons of any kind will be prohibited.
