What about a raid on Area 51 so we can know exactly what is there?

Any attempt at gaining access to area 51 would be met with swift and brutal force.

You could send 50,000 men in there. The next day the military would place an order for 50,000 bodybags and there would be nothing mentioned on the evening news.

For all intents and purposes anyone who tried to get in there would disappear down a black hole.

The families which would inquire about the whereabouts of their loved ones would be met with "Your family members? What family members? You're mistaken. You never had a family member."

Its funny because nobody really know what will happen. They just automatically assume.

Especially considering that lots of people know about a mere two workers who died at Area 51. Sure, it didn't make breakign news, mostly because two guys dying isn't all that important in the big scheme of things. But they can't erase even a few hundred people with records. People give the government way too much credit.

It would never work though, because they probably would notice a large group staging a raid after the first few dozen people set up tents (or disucssed it on ATS, things like this don't happen spontaneously) and break it up right then and there.

Except "50,000 men seen marching to AREA 51"
and "Gun shots heard at AREA 51"
and "50,000 men all seen near AREA 51 suddenly missing"

Unless the military can erase everyones minds then there will be alot of stuff in the news, even if they can, "Thousands of people lose there memories for a day"

i personally think the eaisiest way to get in is either

1) run for president

2) inject yourself with cancer, and use the ronald mcdonald wish foundation. ^_^

although i always did think about that... what if you told them, if you let me go in and see everything inside, when im done you guys can kill me where i stand..

Yeah, as others have said, planning a raid on military facilities is going to get you listed and added to a terrorist watch list. It's not something "cool" to do.

This idea comes up nearly twice a year at ATS, sadly, members need to mature and understand the actions they are planning. Remember, you are discussing this on a open internet forum. Anyone with an agenda can read your comments.

I can promise you two things, one, you won't be seeing little greenman and, two, you will be facing terrorism charges.

Think I'm joking? try it and see what happens. Your group will be stopped before you even land in Las Vegas. I'm not being harsh or trying to kill a thread, just telling this for your own protection.

Internet is not a safe place, I planned and attended an animal rights protests and the security force knew we were coming and were waiting for us.

I read alot of these replies and just have to laugh that so many of you actually take these threads seriously enough to the point where you actually threaten criminal persecution to the poster for even discussing it on the web. I'm sure
this thread will list high on the list of to-do's for the CIA, FBI, and the rest of the American Military, lest we forget that NO GROUP has ever invaded Area51 before.

The age of fear is over, and I for one am not going to give in to it. The fearmongers here can spit out all the threats they want to, it won't change anything or scare anyone, so just go home. I will continue to speak my mind the way I see fit.

You are right my friend. It doesn't nor wouldn't bother me for someone telling me that they are going to charge a law suit against me. However, its not something I would seriously or even have the capability to do. I do not really even think about doing it.

As I couldn't! You all know that anyone of us here reading this, could have the capability to do this. Just something I thought would be interesting for the community to talk about. I mean what in the hell would the FBI/CIA want from me? I don't own any type of weapons, so how could I be a terrorist?

The reinforcements would probably be BlackWater lol, but seriously, maybe alot of seal team 6, delta force, special forces units.

Somebody watches WAY too much tv... The teams are at least an hour away, Delta "no longer exists", etc. Nellis is less than 20 minutes away on full 'burner, and would be happy to vaporize you.
It's one thing to pull a trigger on a collected bunch of pixels on your tv or monitor, quite a different thing to do it in real life. In my experience it takes a bundle of intestinal fortitude ex post facto.
If that's something you're interested in, I understand your local recruiting station is currently accepting applicants... There is a war on after all. You may gain some valuable OTJ experience for your little incursion.
Then again, now that your name raises red flags in every government database existing, you may want to skip the whole military thing.

Try remote viewing... I'm sure you'd get better results with exponentially less risk. Have fun!

Yeah, I'm sure the government will spend tax dollars and resources on their "potential area 51 invaders" list, tracking down "jca2005" and every other free thinker on the web. The cost for finding and and questioning every person posting about invading area 51 would be in the billions. It not going to happen.

Its one thing to type about threatening internet users on your monitor, quite a different thing to do it in real life.

I'm not worried about anything that anyone else has said about it. I am not going to try and flame other people. Just go on, as really I don't care nor does it bother me, as I don't have feelings for anything
. But you are right Agent51.

Uh sure. I think we have already acknowledged this.

Due to new legislation it is now very easy for a person to be legally labelled as a terrorist,
When this new legislation is combined with that of existing terrorists,
It means that any form of american law enforcement (army included)
can literally use any means necessary of stopping the terrorist using any means necessary,
Especially since the terrorist would be armed and have intent to cause harm

so the U.S could be free to drop a nuke on the area 51 site should it come under attack (just to demonstrate the overkill they could legally get away with)

The assumption that the U.S. Government would nuke its own bases is about as asinine to me as the assumption that the posters on this message board are terrorists.

Stop and ask your self: Who is the real terrorist? The individual seeking knowledge, or the individual dropping the bomb?

i never said they would,
i used that to demonstrate the lengths at which the U.S law enforcement can now go to to prevent terrorism (and its all legal)

Maybe those big signs that say, "Restricted Area, use of deadly force authorized" might be a little deterent. Go ahead and "press to test" if you're up to it.

Just send in the Flying Elvis's. with head cams. Everybody likes the Flying Elvis's. Even the military liked Elvis. Think of all the movies. They'll just get a nice escort back to the Extra Terrestrial Highway.

I think the best thing to do would be to just walk in there, 1000 men/strong strong. Peacefully walk into the place :-D if they choose to kill everybody then just think of the media storm that would brew. They could dry to detain everybody but 1000 men/women strong could they really detain all those people either on site or move them elsewhere?
I guess they would just circle the group with guns and ward them back to the exit and tell them to bugger off :-D

I would be up for doing this however I live in the UK.
If it does happen, let me know, give me a place to crash, and pay half my fair :-D
