Hi Mira,

yes I noticed you snaffled 500 points' worth of applause
Good job!

I like that word "synectic". Synectics is just "the study of creative processes, esp. as applied to the solution of problems by a group of diverse individuals." (I'm quoting from dictionary.reference.com...a rather handy site
)

Someone was asking about that anagram solver site, so just in case it's still being sought it's [here].

I've been playing around with the known words plus some of the suggested additions, so I'll get back to all you "fellow-sufferers" a bit later.

And Mira -- good to hear your Dad's getting along okay!

Mira, wouldn't surprise me if you got the point for the word search as search engine oops! that used the R

I've been here since "04" and look at the points I have
sad I say sad, where's my tail.

Mike did I comma right

[edit on 27-10-2007 by observe50]

Your commas are good enough for me
Don't worry bout any slips. We all make 'em and if we can communicate well enough to get our message across here then that's all we need.
More importantly, your thinking is a lot, lot sharper than mine...

OK. James Surowiecki, connects at several points with Tim O'Reilly and Spivak and as my Pop thought DARPA through Twine. Six degrees of separation. Data runs back to about 2003 in a strong current. I can't find an online edition of "The Wisdom of Crowds". This O'Reilly fellow seems a "node" of sorts - digital evangelista.

It all "looks" about right, "buzz words" and some concepts that are for some, counter-intuitive and simultaneously intuitive in the truest sense - unknowing self-assembling intelligence. The crowd beats the expert, time and again. I don't have enough practicum to truly understand the entire deal... no luck on the word puzzle but Surowiecki uses all that we suspect and then some. There may be that "one special passage" that I am unable to traverse... because of my ignorance.

I need to go for my run now... I think better under load.

Mira

I needed a break from bartending (none of you showed up) so I took a break and took a virtual tour of the LUXURY Hotel Gansevoort. After close examination of the bedding provided I will say they will all enjoy a good nights rest.

The bar area is better then the one I have here however, I will only be able to imagine if there drink Manhatten is smoother going down then the ones I (had) earlier waiting for all of you.

After U2Uing myself the two of me have decided I need to add a sugar plum to Accesssssssses two dozen odd buttons.

I hear people laughing all of the time

To take a look inside my mind check this out

I found a good representation of me on the computer

THe experiment is successful I have officially gone insane

So what I am trying to say to you is

I still do not have the answer

There now I feel better,

Must fold laundry,

Someone please solve the puzzle,

Mira your father likes RUSH, I believe he thanked me for putting up on of their videos way back in the thread. At least I think it was him...

Either way I hope he is doing well!

Well, I'm not so sure about the hotel being there, mainly because it doesn't seem that its inclusion would add to describing what the "vision" says, and seeing as we only have about a dozen or so words...I dunno...just seems a bit redundant to talk about the hotel. But I agree that there's a heck of a lot of words that can be made. Over 100,000 in fact.

Just on the technical side of it, there has to be a verb or three in this statement to make it work. The use of "continually" could be followed by almost any verb type, but I just feel it'll be an "ing" version. Pretty likely also that "the" could put in an appearance but I've said that before I think...

Here's some of the words I'm considering at the moment. I am mainly looking at ones that have some particular relevance. Providing I haven't totally screwed up they can be created even after we remove the letters for "a", "and", "ideation" and "continually". It's nowhere near the whole list but there are some we haven't discussed so I thought I'd share them:

active/ly (Seems we are looking at an active process.)
begin/ning
being
benefit/ing (I'm pretty strong on this one.)
competent/competency
complete/ly
compute/computing
connect/ed/ly
conscious/ness
content
deny/ing
diligent/diligence
effective/ly/effectiveness
effectual/ly
efficient/efficiency/efficiencies
enlighten/ed
enthuse/d
enthusiasm/enthusiastic
every
everyone
fight/ing (as it's a revolution, after all)
help/ing/ly
honest/ly
meet/ing/s
potent/potency
self/less (I doubt that "selfish" would be there.)
self-
simple/simply
spontaneous/ly
succeed/success/successful

I'm still working on more from "t" onwards

And Jack: thanks for the post. Loved the gif image! Werry kewl!!
